For this episode of Rhythm Roulette, Ingenious Dreams went to Atlanta to link up with acclaimed producer TracksAllDay.

I recently went to the antique store with my daughter to cop some records. She’s into collecting now, and wanted to crate dig. I ended up buying the “Weather Report, 8:30” album. It contains two records (four sides in total), and I decided to start with the 2nd record, sides three and four.

Not feeling anything after going through both sides, but “Badia / Boogie Woogie Waltz” contained an obscure rhodes/electric piano solo near the end. I decided to sample the oddly sounding solo, and ended up with something decent.

This is also me taking another stab at making beats in Luna, by Universal Audio. A very robust recording system/DAW that sounds great. My primary recording DAW is Avid’s Pro Tools, while my primary producing and beat making software includes Reason 11, and Maschine.
