i love how it expresses how akito always continues moving forward to surpass the world stage with toya, overcoming everything regardless of his weaknesses. akito will "forever" be by toya's side, conquering worlds together and breaking down barriers together. the face akitoya got to have consecutive lines made my heart explode.
i also just really love the general message of the song. as a long time shi4 fan, it fits toya so well too. vbs’ voices captured the emotions of the song — one day you will eventually crumble to dust so why not make your last the most meaningful one?
this song has a soft yet powerful, slightly melancholic vibe that some things are your last and if you want to make those moments worth it give it your all regardless of whether you die or get to see the daylight the next day. you can't keep going back in circles and regretting what you did in the past because if you want to get over the toughest battles sometimes its about facing it upfront and moving on, rather than always desiring to go back and change things.
it reminds me of how toya, in the past, used to go in circles, wishing he could change everything or do something differently, or just wanted to go back. yet, as toya’s heart wanted to love music without any regrets, he had to properly all of those feelings he harboured for so long in what was his single most vulnerable moment in front of his father, in a “now or never” way. overcoming that one challenged allowed toya to blossom into the loving and happy boy he is today. he gets to see the beautiful musical scenery he’d always dreamed of.
the song title in english being “extremely eternal”, it feels like it is saying: you aren't forever, but what productive impact you make in your life will be eternal, so make that “eternal” incredible.

i’ve always wanted to write something for toukasuru ondo as a whole so this was the perfect opportunity 🥹
TL is done in order of left to right, top to bottom
1. i wanted to express the feelings toya has deep in his heart, going together with the lyrics 「眩しかった視界は和らいでもっと君のこともわかりそうな気がした」. i wanted to express how toya wants to understand you better, wanting to snuggle up close to you, reflecting that calm and gentle emotion.
2. together with the impactful lyrics, we used the image of toya embracing himself to show that his ever changing self and the unchanging scenery, are things he wants to cherish greatly, as he embraces the warmth of these feelings.
3. this is a scene where the puzzle pieces float about under a gentle light. with the lyrics, 「繰り返しほどいてこう君とのパズルを」, we wanted to express a relationship where each other’s feelings intertwine and resonate.
4. this part depicts toya, his loving kindness of wanting to be there for someone, and despite having wavering emotions, he still looks forward to the future. this is depicted by the way we put a close up on his expression, as well as shifting lighting and color. this expresses toya’s delicate, fluctuating feelings as he faces his future.
thoughts
toya has always been someone with great amounts of empathy and sympathy. he feels very deeply and is very introspective in regards to emotion. being a good listener for him is standing close to someone's side, feeling every heartbeat and emotion together whether its positive or negative. understanding why and how you feel is also key to toya understanding his own emotions. he takes great care in this aspect because it is key to performing with everyone in a way that shows off pride in his passion.
as toya takes each step towards his dreams and future, he expands and fills in the spaces in his ever expanding puzzle full of bright and warm colors, pictorially representing all the feelings he has as he experiences every step of the way with the people he loves. each new part completed also represents toya's ever changing self as he grows. the constant that is being surrounded with everyone he loves reminds him to cherish everything along the way.
i love to also think that the colored pieces are contributions from those same people, who helped toya out of all his ruts, helped toya to widen his perspective of the world.
toya's puzzle will always be incomplete but that's the art of life. there are an infinite number of things toya can experience, and infinite pieces to collect. but i think its most important that toya can look back in the future, and focus on how colorful and picturesque his world has become, within music and outside of it, as they are linked.
i've always wanted a jellycat and the new puddlesea bunny was literally perfect for toya. it has the half tone fur in the exact same toya colors and it was just adorable... i love toya, i'm cuddling the two every night and at every chance i get 🐳💙

i realised this really small detail but did you guys notice that his special talent changed from "piano, violin" -> composing? its so cute.
his childhood dream that was to make music that floods people with emotion is being realised day by day, and he feels so secure in his place as a musician that he doesn't feel the need to categorise himself into his instruments. his true love will always be the joy of making music, regardless of the instrument or method or genre and he has grown to love that and take pride in that. he uses his experience with those instruments as a platform to push his music up even higher, blending together all his experiences and emotions to create his own unique toya sound. he sees these instruments as things he can use in his repertoire, and no longer as things that hold him back.
his security in his identity as a musician that has pride and joy in his work means that toya realises that its ok for him to walk a different path from what he was used to as long as he continues doing what he loves, and most importantly having pride in what he does. because if he isn't proud of his work, what is the point of being a musician, when the whole art form focuses on conveying something you wanna say through sound?
to toya, music is so important that, wherever he goes regardless, his past and future with music will always be with him, building upon each other. that love for classical music and that training in instruments gave him the ability to discern fine musical details and produce music. his heart to explore and continue making music already proves his love.

"drawing with reference from the event story that depicts the pure joy and fun of music, we decided to center the base design around a 'choir'. as we planned to release this card in the middle of summer, we decided to factor in the theme of 'sea animals'. toya's designed around the majesitc whale. the jacket features wave like details, creating a cute and rounded silhouette. this outfit contrasts with the cooler outfits that toya usually wears, hence bringing out a new charming facet of toya."

i'm not really the biggest fan of rad dogs, the part i really like though is the piano/ violin parts its really beautiful
can we talk about the way he blows out the candles? it is like he is carefully blowing them with tiny movements to prevent destroying anything. and the way he observes the cake? with his past experience in baking, i’m imagining him observing all the small details like the frosting, the flowers, the 3D mini toya and the icing cookie. i like to think he’s noting all of them down for the next time he wants to bake things again for all the people he loves. he’s so adorable
he is such a grateful person. he loves and feels so happy to have so many people watching over him celebrating his big day. it is your day toya, and only yours. i love you so much.
