first, this outfit is such a beautiful evolution from nocturne. the almost pure white colors of the outfit feels like toya's discovery in a new beginning in the music he wants to create. i thought that this was emphasised by the large ribbon and wings, which is as if he's flying towards that ideal new beginning.

i really love the classical music motifs too. the sheet music, violin... toya is one with music, one with classical music, yet, he forged a path of his own where he gets to blend that tradition with a new style. the treble clef at the back also symbolises that new beginning of toya's blank sheet.

what struck me most when i decided to google what ambience music encompasses is that it is music that focuses more on atmosphere and tone, and doesn't have much "traditional" structure. it is music that is calming and warm; like a hug as you sit on the floor in a quiet museum.

in addition, i also like that it somewhat touches on toya's memories of vienna when he was younger, as evident from how the title is derived from german pronunciation.

toya, who has always struggled with holding onto the "two sides" of him, who has always wondered if he could ever make the music that he has always dreamed about, i think that this bloomfes story will finally close that chapter for toya. his "ambient music" is one that is chock full of sounds that allow the listener to feel the emotion, experiences, atmosphere that is toya's little world. to which these very sounds that leave his computer, are sounds reinforced by his tradition, and transcended by his multi-faceted identity. him not being fixed to traditional expectations for music is what makes toya's music uniquely his.

ambient music also being mysteriously calming suits toya so much. for toya, who feels music and sound on a spiritual and sensory level, having the sounds he has always loved and new sounds together in his heart perhaps is that form of ambient music for toya, calming. classical music that was once so hard for toya to hear because he kept remembering all his frustrations an anger, is now something that also brings him a sort of warmth through remembering why he fell in love with music in the first place. he cares for mood that the sound of his acoustic piano, the layers and textures of each note bring.

imagine toya lying down on his bed under his warm colored lights with his headphones on and cds of multiple genres in his hand, listening and taking in every bit of color, tone and atmosphere behind each instrument that enters his ears. that's the ambience he thrives in and has finally found.
