There have been many defining moments that stick in my mind over the last year that I know have sculpted and influenced me to be the man I am thismorning, as I sit here, deliberately cold, deliberately mosquito ridden, deliberately away from home... Heart pounding and eyes wet I stare at my father as he stands bare and withered in his room collecting the last of his essential belongings, nothing but what he needs to survive. My 58 year old father who has been married to his second wife, my mother for the last 25 years, is about to leave the bedroom that he built with his own hands and which he will never likely sleep again. And as I stare at him and realise this, I feel empty. Lost is the question of how, lost is the question of why, reality sets in and it is done... Days will turn to weeks apart and likely months where I don't see or hear from him and as I realise this, I feel empty. A strong Christian family smashed to jagged shards in a matter of years. No heavenly intervention, no council from family or friends. Just the bitter harsh reality that life has led to an unforeseeable, unimaginable, unforgettable place where the family has been forced to survive...

The guilty pleasures of a runaway child, enthralled by the taste of what they call sin;

A woman holding a child bears a empty smile just trying to swim, in deep merky waters where she has never before been;

Blessed is the forgotten man, praying for his forgotten plan, a fate he would rather leave to a begotten man;

Sisters left to shards by the disruption to their existence, hopelessness is all that leads them when there are no witnesses to help ease it;
