#very lucky that all 4 great grandparents on my mom's side lived until i was already in my 20s #and my great grandpa is still doing yard work at the home he's lived in since before my mom was born and they took away his nurse aid #bc he's too healthy #i love all my great grandparents it was just like having extra grandparents #i was closer with my grandma's parents spent a few days a summer at their place #i get my love of books and old things from my great grandma #and i've said it before but my grandpa is genuinely one of the best people i've ever met i admire him so so so much #but my papa's parents were also great #just quieter and my mom has a bad relationship with her dad which means it was a bit harder to visit them #oh and there's a pic out there me as a little baby with 5 generations of women #so technically i met my great GREAT grandma #but i don't remember so it doesn't really count
