Journey thru visionary Art 3/10 Emma Kunz was the daughter of lower class Swiss textile makers in the late 19th century. Similar to other artists on this list, a sort of Batman figure, 3 of her siblings died during childhood and both her brother and father committed suicide when she was just 17. With no formal training whatsoever, she began to create holograms with a pendulum that she claimed to have healing abilities. Her works combined science, medicine, religion, ancient Germanic magic, and philosophy. She passed away in 1963.
