“Yeah, I think that was the one.” Not that she paid much attention when she watched it.Crime stuff didn’t really concern her too much, but it nothing else interesting was on.
“Oh yeah, that’s you alright, totally though I knew you from somewhere. Like, nice to meet you.” The Kogal says with a brief wave. She listened to the explanation, with only a passive interest. File yaddi yadda vacation, nothing too exciting.
“You’re, like, you’re not taking a vacation here, right? I mean, Tokyo is, like, so close.” She, gestured vaguely as if that could possibly help convey how close the small town was to the city.
She chuckled “It’s no surprise you know about it. After all, several people ending up either dead, hanging from telephone poles or kidnapped for a short period of time was a shocker to nearly everyone, not only the townspeople of Inaba. They all were relieved when the whole case was solved for real and the real culprit got what he deserved - a fairly long time behind bars.” She was sure that despite Adachi’s miraculous appearances at P1 Grand Prix and that bizarre Midnight Stage he was now at Inaba, dealing with what he had coming.
She nodded to Yuka and mused that as surprising as it was, she was going to be for some time. “My current superior asked me to get some data about… SEBEC, was it? Anyhow, the shady company which had built an alternative universe switching machine. After that I’ll be here for some days to enjoy the quietness and peace in other place than the city I’m currently staying at.” She hadn’t yet decided how long she’d be here: It’d be at least two to three days, knowing how PDs functioned and how she preferred to exchange information instead of only getting the papers. After that she’d continue to another city and try arranging a meeting with Rise, who had now a performance at Tokyo. “Who knows, maybe I’ll go to Tokyo after I’ve finished my businesses here.”
“Like, you don’t have to remind me. It was, like, so totally creepy, like something out of a horror movie or something. Totally spooky.” She shakes her head. What happened here was totally freaky, but at least it wasn’t some spooky mystery drawn out over a year. Though she never looked too deeply into it.
Speaking of, she blinks at the name of SEBEC. Gosh, that was a blast from the past, though it wasn’t that long ago. A bit surprised other people heard of the reality warpy-machiney-thingie and believed it was true, consider everything else that happened that day was forgotten or brushed aside. Another weird thing is why would people still want reports on it, the company was done with already.
“Oh? Well I guess if you have work and stuff it can’t be helped. Still would’ve went to like, a beach or something.” she says noncommittally.
