Hmmmm.... I'd say when she becomes a dog girl is definitely what would change everything the most. If she wasn't made into a half dog person, she would have most likely stayed in the village, but she still would have lived with her aunts and likely still wouldn't have been a ninja like she wanted. At least when she was a dog girl, she found Ren, who taught her all her ninja skills. If she would have stayed in Iwagakure, I honestly don't know what she would have done. She would just be a normal girl, working as a maid for someone most likely. Living with her two aunts and her 1 million year old peepaw. She would've probably had some sort of pet canid, likely a dog but possibly a coyote. Despite not really always liking being a weird dog girl, she's living a much happier life as one.
