Another promise broken from you.

I am dragged through the mud,

Trying to fight for you.

You paint me in hues of narcissistic blue.

Telling our friends things untrue,

All I wanted was to love you.

I really wish I knew what I could do.

I can't call you because it will open the trap.

I can't say happy birthday but I'm still not talking to you because it will be a fight.

One we have had time and time again, sometimes they end with me getting a slap.
