Visited the cemetery this morning in remembrance of a brother that was taken from us 3 years ago. Though the pain remains in the loss of a young and vibrant boy, in many ways I've been encouraged by the impact he made on so many people in his 15 years of living. One thing I've learned from today alone is that in times of pain, grief, heartache etc. Christ has created avenues for us to receive His comfort. Today for me that has been via His word and His people. Two vital components in the life of every believer. 2 Corinthians 1:4

This weekend we were in our hometown of Manchester for the city’s biggest live music event; The Parklife Weekender. This time in it’s new home of Heaton Park, the festival was home to some 40,000 music lovers, over 200 performers and 25 degrees plus of beautiful sunshine.

Cannot stress how much Uncle Carl will be missed. Always had a smile, or a word of encouragement. Such kind hearted man, who love to serve others. One thing we can rejoice in, is that he is free from pain and at rest in the Father's arms. Worshipping His Creator and basking in God's eternal goodness. Though we on earth mourn the loss of a great man, the angels rejoice. He is present with The Lord. RIP
