Things I make sure to do before I post a picrew image:
- Find the original picrew (if I don't post the image immediately after using it, I make sure to bookmark it)
- try to find the original artist to link back to. If I can't find them, then just linking the picrew will have to do
- I also try to pay attention and make sure it has "Non-Commercial" and/or "Individual" mark for usage, unless stated otherwise in the description (sometimes a picrew is not marked down for anything but in the description it would say, "if you wanna post it just make sure you credit")
I have a handful of picrews I did a long while ago, to which my bookmarks for lead to a 404. Those I don't think I'll post, as this account is mainly meant as a resource for picrews I think are cool. No point if I have nothing to link back to.
For REALLY older ones that I failed to bookmark for, I may just post those to ask everyone if they know the originals; if found I can make an official post for the images.
Also, if you're searching through my blog and come across a post that doesn't link back to a picrew, most likely that means it has since been deleted. (Unless somehow I forgot to put a link. If anyone sees a post like this and knows the picrew HASN'T been deleted, and has a working link to the original picrew, tell me and I can update the post.)
And let me reiterate: IF I EVER POST A PICREW WITHOUT THE SPECIFIC ARTIST CREDITED AND YOU KNOW WHO THEY ARE, PLEASE TELL ME SO I CAN EDIT IT!!!! The only times I'll not list an artist are if either they don't list themselves in the description, I can't "reverse-search" by looking up an @ with the artist's signature, and/or whatever account that's listed is deactivated... I just wanna make sure I have something to link back to.
Also I hope it's always obvious I'm not the original artist to any of these picrews O_O unless stated otherwise
