can we talk about "is it romantic how all my elegies eulogize me"? the fact that she's asking "is it romantic" and not "isn't it romantic" really stood out to me. almost sounds like she doesn't think it's romantic, but her whole life she's been trained to romanticize and find beauty in everything she went through, including the bad parts, so now when she's feeling vulnerable and lost and like she doesn't belong, she's still looking for those pieces of beauty in her pain, and still trying to make it all seem romantic in order for it to make sense.
