Tonight Alive Street Team - Spring Tour Sign-Ups!
Tonight Alive will be hitting the road this spring on a huge U.S. tour with Taking Back Sunday and The Used. As you can already imagine, this tour is destined to be an epic one, so we'll need your help supporting Tonight Alive, their new album - The Other Side,and this tour! To say this tour is a monumental opportunity for Tonight Alive is an understatement, so we're really hoping you're up for the challenge to pull in some new fans for Tonight Alive! Please read though the tour mission carefully and sign-up for a show in your area if you'd like to get involved!

IMPORTANT: Only sign up if you are 100% sure you make it to the show, can complete a pre-show and post-show report. Your pre-show report is due one week prior to the show and a post-show report due no later than one week after your show. Failure to submit reports by their respective times will result in not receiving a guest list spot and/or possible restrictions in working shows in the future. Guest list spots are hard to come by and we need to make sure we are reserving them for teamers that deserve them!

-RSVP to your date for the Taking Back Sunday/The Used spring tour on Facebook under Tonight Alive's tour dates. (1 screenshot)
-Share your choice of Tonight Alive's "Lonely Girl" or "Come Home" Music Video on Facebook and mention how excited you are to see them on the spring tour with Taking Back Sunday and The Used. Mention which date you'll be attending and tag all the bands in your post. (1 screenshot)
-Upload the Spring Tour banner on Facebook, on a separate day, and mention how excited you are to see them on this upcoming spring tour. Include the date, venue, and the link to purchase tickets. Make sure you tag Tonight Alive in your post. (1 screenshot)
-Tweet your choice of Tonight Alive's "Lonely Girl" or "Come Home" Music Video and mention how excited you are to see them on the spring tour with Taking Back Sunday and The Used. Make sure you tag @TonightAlive in your post. (1 screenshot)
-A few days later, share an update tweet about your upcoming show. Include the date, venue, and a countdown to your show date! Tag @TonightAlive in your post. (1 screenshot)
-Search for people talking about "Taking Back Sunday" or "The Used" followed by the city of the tour date you'll be attending (i.e. Taking Back Sunday NYC). Reply to their tweet talking about Tonight Alive (encouraging them to check out a the band or your favorite song etc)! Make sure your response is relate-able to their original tweet. -Create a Tonight Alive themed Flipagram slide-show to share on Instagram. Use your favorite Tonight Alive photos (live photos, press photos, photos of you and the band etc). Make sure the spring tour poster is incorporated in your Flipagram and you select your favorite Tonight Alive song off The Other Side as your track! Be sure to mention how excited you are to see Tonight Alive this spring with Taking Back Sunday and The Used. Tag @TonightAliveOfficial #TonightAlive #TheOtherSide #TakingBackSunday #TheUsed and any other appropriate tags i.e. the song you picked. Share your work on your other social networks, too. -Using your favorite photo of Tonight Alive, create a digital tour flyer or meme promoting your date of the tour! You can use a live photo or a press photo as long as it's a current one. Try to incorporate Tonight Alive's logo in your image. Tell your followers how excited you are to see Tonight Alive on their spring tour with Taking Back Sunday and The Used. Other information about the tour such as other bands playing, where to purchase tickets (include the link) should be included in the post. Your image should be appealing so other users re-blog your image and is being seen by a lot of people to make it more effective. -Find a creative way to promote Tonight Alive on the Taking Back Sunday & The Used Spring Tour! Anything creative and appropriate goes - show us how creative you can get! Here are some examples: Make Tonight Alive tie dye shirts, make Tonight Alive fortune cookies, make your own Tonight Alive jewelry or nail art... anything new and exciting to create buzz about Tonight Alive and the tour. The possibilities are endless, so please be as creative as you can because at the end of the tour, I will award the best street team tour promotion with a special Tonight Alive prize! Your creative tour promotion will be featured on the street team social sites PLUS it will be sent to the band to see! Make sure you put a lot of time and effort into your creative promotion; the point is to promote the band on the tour/ get a big positive reaction, and most importantly have fun! IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not make more than one online post a day! The point is to promote Tonight Alive and their tour without spamming your friends/ followers with too many posts at once. Sharing too much at once can be overwhelming, and will most likely cause someone to ignore your posts which doesn't help the band at all. Spread your work by limiting your posts to one a day.
-Print 40 tour flyers (4 to a sheet x 10 sheets = 40 individual flyers) and pass them out at a local competitive show at least one week prior to your show date. The flyers you will print should include: date, time, venue of the show. Make sure you're engaging in a conversation and let them know Tonight Alive will be on the spring tour with Taking Back Sunday and The Used and mention how epic Tonight Alive's live performances are. It's also ideal to take your iPod with you (to a local competitive show) and ask new potential fans to preview "Lonely Girl" by Tonight Alive to make your street promoting as effective as possible. The point is to encourage people that may not be familiar with Tonight Alive to attend the show and become fans! This is also a great way to make new friends! If your show is sold out, you should make The Other Side album flyers to promote the new album.(5 photos)
-One poster MUST be hung up at the venue prior to the show. Write the tour name, bands playing, date and time on the poster. Take two pictures, one zoomed in show what is written and one zoomed out to show the surrounding area. (2 photos - 1 zoomed in & 1 zoomed out)
-The other 4 posters should be placed at places such as Hot Topic, Guitar Center, DTox, record stores, FYE, HMV, skate parks, coffee shops, your school etc. Make sure to write in the tour name, other bands playing, date, time and venue of the show. Take two pictures for every poster, one zoomed in show what is written and one zoomed out to show where it is. We need you to include a caption / description with every picture you send as well. (8 photos - 1 zoomed in & 1 zoomed out of each)
*Bad places to hang posters : Wal-Mart, Gas Stations, Fast Food Places etc.
*Call the venue to make sure they will allow putting up posters on the day of. If they will not, email me so we can figure something else out

Pre-Show Report Total Screenshots/ Photos: 28+ & creative promotion short write-up
Please save all screenshots & pictures, compile/ organize/ label them into a single word document (.doc/ .docx) or PDF and send it to [email protected] at least one week prior to your show date with the subject line "Tonight Alive Pre-Show Report" to receive a spot on the guest list!
-When you get to the venue you will need to check in with the Tour Manager, a Band Member, Merchandise Coordinator, or someone who works with the band. The band and crew appreciate your hard work and they want to meet you! This is also a great opportunity to see if there is anything else you can help them with. Have the Tour Manager or your main contact sign your email list on the top right corner of your newsletter sign-up sheet showing that you checked in. (1 photo of the signature)
-Collect at least 20 emails for the Fearless Records newsletter. Make sure you are engaged with the fans you're talking to when collecting sign-ups. Introduce yourself; tell them you're promoting the band. If they are unfamiliar with the band, this is a great opportunity to tell them how great they are. Talk about their current album or how great they are live. Getting them to sign up for the newsletter in exchange for a sticker with the band's name on it is great way to gain new fans for the band. Also mention the Fearless Records Street Team and what we're about - if they'd like to join, write ST next to their name. We will send them more info about joining and the application. Try to recruit 2 new teamers!(Turn in a typed up list of email addresses in an excel spreadsheet)
-The stickers should be passed out to fans at the show. If the venue allows stickers to be placed on the walls and such, no more than 3 of the stickers should be used for that. (3 photos of stickers being passed out)
-After you pick-up your ticket at will call and enter the venue when doors open you will need to hang your posters inside before the show starts. Try to hang them in places a lot of people will see them, like by the entrance, merch table, the bar, the bathrooms, etc. You should write important info on the posters, like set times, or encouraging fans to check out the band's merch table! Take two pictures for every poster, one zoomed in show what is written and one zoomed out to show the surrounding area. We need you to include a caption / description with every picture you send as well. Five posters should be hung up in the venue. (10 photos - 1 zoomed in & 1 zoomed out of each)
-During Tonight Alive's performance, take a live photo or video clip of them performing and post it on either Instagram, Twitter, or Facebook. Make sure to tag the band and hash tag anything pertaining to the picture (i.e. Tonight Alive, Fearless Records, band member(s), song title etc) and mention how great it is seeing the band perform live. Let your friends know how much fun you're having! (1 screenshot)
-No later than two days after your show, make an online review of the tour! You may choose to make a YouTube video (you may include live footage) and share it on Facebook or make a tumblr post (don't forget to include epic photos) etc. it's your choice! Keep in mind that your review should be genuine and mention parts of the show you enjoyed the most such as memorable moments, favorite song performances and meeting the band etc. The point is to let your friends, followers and other viewers know that you had a blast and encourage them to check out the band!
