*cracking up* Okay, here’s the problem, is I was mad at that guy, and now that I’m doing an impression of him I kinda think he’s adorable and I like him. I like him now. It’s a very unique way to defuse my own road rage. I don’t know what kind of mental illness I have, but it’s fun.

I've been thinking about this video non-stop for months, but do you know what just occurred to me? This is actually a great example of mindfulness, expression, and self-modulation.

Instead of bottling it or lashing out, he took the time to stop in a quiet place to process an upsetting event. He validated his anger, and stated he felt his needs were going unmet. He then humanized the person who upset him, and considered their intentions. He then found perspective on the event and his own emotions. This then genuinely calmed him down.

Those are all therapy skills being used in real time! Which, like, I don't think people talk about enough. Part of the human experience is getting angry about stupid things. Feelings can't be permanently bottled or unleashed full force on the spot. You need to process it, and take the time to see the bigger picture.

When I first saw this post I literally could not tell if you were being serious or if this reply was meant to be sarcastic. In context, I think it's sarcasm pointing out how ridiculous all this is, but I feel like so many times, I've seen someone write 'A Modest Proposal' these days, and the reply is just, 'God, Yes, Why did we never think of eating these problematic people before?'

Im a leftis im anti war. I want the Palestinian people to be free of the terrible conditions they live in, free of occupation, and free to go wherever the fuxk they please without being seen as suspects and for them to be equal humans with rights in this land.

I also live in israel. I dont want my people's blood to be shed. I want peace. I want the massive killing Israel's army is currently doing to stop. I want the bloodyhirst politicians which are finally putting their sadistic wet dreams they have been working for tiresly for 40 years to make Israel even more racist and even more religiously extremist to fail. I still live hear. I want no more humans to die.

I dont fucking know what "justice" is, I just want people to have good lives. And I know what that does look like.
