If I love reading, why is it so hard to actually do it? I ask the same about writing too. Why don’t I do it as often if I love it? Why does it take effort for me to do it? I wish I could actually be a real reader who just picks up a book by default instead of my phone. I guess that takes practice, but do I truly love it if I have to practice doing that?

I watched Obsession in theater yesterday and I still can’t stop thinking about it. I haven’t been scared of a horror movie in years, and I think that’s because a movie depicting real life events like loss of autonomy, toxic relationships, and mental health issues scares me more than monsters, ghosts, boogie men, or any paranormal stuff. That movie freaked me out. I did enjoy it and there’s so much I can analyze and think about from it, which I like from a movie. When I watched it at first, there were so much that I missed or didn’t realize, and I got stuff wrong about the movie because I didn’t understand some parts of it at first until I heard other people’s thoughts. I went in blind not hearing a single discourse on the internet or watching the trailer. But I heard other people giving their thoughts and insights on the movie afterwards and I started seeing things differently that I didn’t notice before. Now I’m contemplating if I want to rewatch it or not to see if I missed more, but after the horrified feelings I got from it, I don’t know if I want to. Maybe not any time soon. Anyway, I totally recommend you watch it, but just be aware that it’s disturbing. But if you did watch it I’m curious to hear your thoughts on it and discuss it with you guys.
