Anxiety is the Dizziness of Freedom by elaia
Hermione Granger has three secrets she keeps close to her chest.
One, she’s on the verge of failing all her classes.
Two, she can’t stop taking her use-only-when-needed anti-anxiety medication.
And three, she’s an Omega.
What isn’t a secret is her love for Borgin & Burkes, the coffeeshop right across the street from her apartment. Unfortunately for her, they just hired a new barista.

A dark retelling of Rapunzel and 1001 nights.
They tell you it’s a fairytale.
A girl in a tower.
A boy who climbs high enough to reach her.
A story about escape.
But that’s not what this is.
This is a peek inside the mouth of the unknown, jaw unhinged, waiting to take a bite.

Hermione Granger wasn’t impulsive, but she was efficient. She didn’t make hasty decisions; she simply decided what to do and did it. And she certainly didn’t take foolish chances with her spotless reputation.
Which was why, as she stared hard at her hands glued to the wall of the potion’s lab—wand mere inches above her yet entirely out of reach—she couldn’t help but wonder where it all had gone so spectacularly wrong.

Or—the one where Hermione sabotages Tom Riddle’s schoolwork, and finds herself on the receiving end of his (dis)pleasure.
atelophobia by natasharomanhoffs
Sure enough, not five seconds later, the door cracked open, and a tall boy with green lining on his robes strode into the Hospital Wing. Hermione absent-mindedly noticed his attractive face, but she was more focussed on his uniform.
Lord, that looks stuffy, was her first thought.
At least he knows how to tie a proper Windsor knot, was her second.
Hermione wakes up in 1943 alone, annoyed, and uninformed.
And why the hell was life so determined to pit her against Tom bloody Riddle, anyway?
A Wicked Heart by Calliope_Quarrel
Hermione must scramble to survive when, at twenty-six, she finds herself in 1953 due to an ill-fated run in with an egg timer. Lucky for her, there's a shop hiring in Knockturn Alley where her skills shine. However, what brings her some security in starting a new life also brings with it the obsessive attention of her new coworker, his followers, and the society she hopes to destroy.
Being the type of witch who can't help but attract attention, it doesn't take long for Hermione to find herself in the midst of pureblood society in post-war Britain, right as Tom Riddle is deciding how, exactly, he plans to pursue his magical domination. He's felt a bit stagnant the last few years, and had thought of traveling east soon, but ever since she showed up at Borgin and Burke's, Tom's plans have all twisted to somehow require her presence by his side. The only problem? Hermione has rules of her own, and she's an infamous stickler for those.
Prominent female Death Eaters & other witches.
Extensive 1950s wizarding world speculative worldbuilding.
WIP; active updates.
Part One: complete (ch. 1-24)
Part Two: in progress (ch. 25 - ?)
Blood, Dirt, and Tears by veiledrose
"I'm not a know-it-all, Hermione. I just happen to have acquired an extensive arsenal of expertise," said Tom. "As have you."
Hermione Granger has never met anybody quite like Tom Riddle. He'll change her life, but she'll change his, too.
Cry Havoc! by artofcrying
Hermione, brought to the Court of Slytherin to be King Salazar's latest virgin bride, expects to die. What she doesn't expect is to catch his Fool's attention.
The Veils by NoFootprintsInSand
She turns a corner and there he is.
It seems he has come looking for her too.
He looks… different, she hazily has time to think. He’s down to a black singlet and black trousers; somewhere along the way he has disposed of his duster and the gun, though he is still carrying all the knives. His knuckles are bruised. His hair is wild, standing every which way and falling into his eyes.
And his stance…
It is terrifying.
Head held low and forward between hunched shoulders. Contours tight and rigid, tension singeing him. Violence an aura almost warping the way she perceives him. Fingers clenching and unclenching. And the scars on his face are so dark with blood that they are almost crimson.
An overhead back-up light hits his face, and she sees bared teeth. She sees eyes so infernal that they override even her Omega hormones, pierce through to the primal survival instincts lying fallow in her hindbrain.
“Ah,” he says, his voice low and full of sharp edges. Like he’s gargling on flint. “You came. Good. Good girl.”
She throws the wrench at him and turns and runs.
OR: Hermione is only meant to observe, NOT engage. Strict orders. Ironclad.
Oops.
Hermione works the front desk at a brothel, and Tom is about to become a very high-profile client.

Losing All My Innocence in the Backseat by TurtleShellPowerup
Fifteen year old Hermione Granger Black was shocked when her sister Bellatrix got engaged to Tom. He’s older. Much older.
At least he was nice. He seemed to be the only one in the family who cared about her. He cared...a lot.
He even agreed to show her how to drive.
