He pauses, waiting for a reply, and then sweats in bemusement as he says, "Mob, that was a joke, I know you won't forget." Shigeo is plummeting from the sky behind Arataka like a missile. Arataka, oblivious, says into the phone, "Hey, if it makes you feel better, I could be the one vi-" Shigeo's bleary, wind-swept face seems to materialize abruptly behind Arataka, who shrieks, "WHAT THE" as Shigeo says, "Shishou-" Arataka turns around, exasperated, and says, "I swear, I should've taught you to use your powers for trivial things, you almost gave me a heart attack." Shigeo smiles good-naturedly. His hair is standing on end.
Arataka pulls a stupid, disbelieving face. He says, "Wait, are you in your pajamas?" Shigeo replies, "Well, I did come as soon as you called, as usual." Arataka says, "Don't use that reason for this..." He reaches out to comb Shigeo's hair with his hands, saying, "I swear, Mob..." He pulls his own jacket over Shigeo's shoulders. Shigeo says, "Does this help?" Arataka replies, "Let's stop talking for now." There's a pause where the panel zooms in on Arataka's eyes. He bends over, snickering as Shigeo says, "Shishou?" Then Arataka bursts into joyful laughter, and he says, "Isn't this ridiculous?" The corners of Shigeo's mouth tug, and then he's laughing with a red face and closed-eye smile as he says, "Right? What was I thinking just coming here like that?" They are both bent over laughing on the corner of the empty city street at night. Arataka wipes his eyes and says, "But really, though... Thanks for coming." He pats Shigeo on the head and says, "Even if it did scare me like hell." Shigeo says, "Sorry, Shishou," laughing. Arataka says, "So, what do you wanna eat? My treat." Shigeo says, "Yakiniku, please." Arataka says, "Of course. I'll grill it the way you like it, then." Shigeo says, "Thank you. Shishou, did you mean it when you said you'd visit?" Arataka says, "Don't push it, now." Shigeo laughs. Arataka says, "Happy birthday, Mob." End ID]
