I think we run in circles, constantly chasing who we want to become and running from who we are all at once. I think mirrors provide us with truths and a deeper reflection of ourselves than we ever care for. Imagining that we are kinder, better, faster, smarter, and warmer than we actually are. All the hoping and wishing in the world cannot change what is. I love the flawed individualistic qualities of me. I intend to explore every hole, and dig past the imperfections in hopes of making peace with who I am. With who I’ve become. I get tired of running. I’ve decided to stand still.
