My *FAVOURITE* Baba Arashi round from this week’s VS Arashi SP (≧◡≦)

The theme of this Nino-san episode is basically giving compliments to others. And they had different situation skits.

This one was where your colleague talks to you about her trouble in love life. She is feeling down because she messaged a guy telling him that she likes him but he didn’t reply. And she was thinking it’s because she’s not pretty.

Looking at Nino’s reactions and his comment about his butt was stuck on the seat...I think he was really lost and didn’t know what he should say. So he was literally thinking on his feet while acting out the skit and couldn’t resist laughing out.

In the end, what did he do?

Jun’s attempts at ‘Shutter Sliding’ in his corner of Arashi ni Shiyagare.

The guys were competing to see who can make the best キメ顔 (I guess you can say it means creating the face that you think is the best on purpose?) AFTER being turned around many times while sitting on a chair (the guests on this episode are figure-skaters).

Sho’s attempt at surf-exercise which was amusing and all cute :)

Despite his was more difficult, he still tried his very best to keep his balance and completed the whole routine :D

Nino talked about putting 500 yen coins into a piggy bank (which he did talked about back in 2007?) so it’s quite a long time ago.

He was saying when he’s in the mood, he likes to drink and hold the piggy bank at the same time, which led to Sho’s comment “Nino has a condition where he is obsessed with money.” XD

After doing that for years, one day he thought of holding the piggy bank but couldn’t because it was so heavy and he dropped it and there was a crack on the floor. So he was curious and opened it and was shocked there was 800,000 yen in it.

If you do the maths, that piggy bank weighed at least 11.2 kg.

The guest (acted with Nino in a drama back in 2005) mentioned about buying a mobile phone for Nino as a birthday present back then.

They met at Ebisu station and went to the mobile phone shop. Nino took a numbered ticket and waited for his turn, which to me is just adorable :D

If you’re a guy and could be in Arashi for a moment, what would you want to do?

Sho got the right answer but he was feeling down about it because his dish had coriander, which is something he dislikes. And then ended up with Jun (who answered the 1st question correctly) and Sho, who BOTH dislike coriander, sitting at the food table.

Sho wanted to try the chicken first, only the chicken. When he tried the soup, he very quickly showed it on his face that he didn’t like the taste at all.

Nino told Jun to try eating Sho’s dish too, which Jun responded “Why do I have to eat it!? Why do I have to eat something I dislike even though I have won?” So Jun ate the coriander while Sho was sitting besides him looking.

When Jun commented that it was yummy, Sho has this “Are you serious?” look on his face.

Koyama wrote how Shige may act like he didn't prepare anything, but he will have a present prepared on the actual birthday and does value birthdays etc.　And they were all like, Shige is a good guy.

Shige: Well, it's a heart-warming episode but of all days...on Ohno-kun's birthday, I didn't prepare anything at all today.

Aiba: He takes care of you, right?

Shige: He does.

Jun: It's fine if you didn't know about it, but if you were like thinking it's Ohno-kun's birthday today then it's kind of awful.

Nino: He's not mad but just that it's kind of awful to talk about it.

Jun: So it's hard for him to say it out.

Voice: You will be receiving the grip from Ohno-san...

Nino: He may not give it to you.

Shige: He may not give it to me. Since I didn't give him a present, he may not do the same.

[The part where Shige wanted the grip but Ohno took a bit more time to give it to him.]

Aiba: But about that...it took awhile to get the grip from Leader.

Shige: I think that took about 10 seconds.
