A Late Night Drink

“You’re a funny girl when you don’t mean to be… I think. Most of the time.” He shakes his head, right before the woman made her move. Getting close a bit earlier than anticapated. Not to complain of course. He was a lonely young man in his own mind.
“You’re the smart one here miss.” Around came his arms by her sides. Close as one can be, while still walking the safty line. “You know I’ve been waiting for you, yeah?” There wasn’t any doubt.
Eleanor tried not laugh at her compainion, but honestly, he was so amusing when he was in this state. Granted, she’s never seen him this far off, but it will still be a fun time all around. She could stand for a little more teasing of the poor boy. “Funny? Should I take that as a compliment then?” She questioned with a smile.
The grin on her face grew more when she felt his arms encircle her waist, trying to hide her obvious laughter, she did her best to pass on a coy smile. “Well a young lady can never be too sure these days. Though I suppose being a smart girl such as myself, I can deduce that there’s the slight chance you were waiting for me.” She’ll keep using those big words as much as she can, it’ll just egg him on even more.
