I adore that Duang isn’t a one-dimensional character. While he may be a gumdrop, he possesses a depth beyond that. He can experience a range of emotions, including irritation, anger, sadness, and more, which makes me happy. I hate when sunshine characters are merely there to provide sunshine and laughter, existing solely to make others happy. However, aside from their cheerful demeanor, they lack genuine human emotions. They are essentially robots programmed to “happiness.” In contrast, Duang is a happy character who makes me laugh and smile constantly, yet he also experiences and expresses other emotions.
