hi hi! Jared is doing really good. he gets pretty sad in the winter so now that it's spring he is just in a really good mood almost all the time.

It’s the 1 year anniversary of Today Jared Kleinman so we’re doing a mod biography thing and Q&A!

Mod 1: @peckingontheglass  : iris, she/her, pan, i do most of the posting and i was the one who decided to make the blog last year. my favorite musicals are deh and bmc because i’m unoriginal and i play guitar and uke and shit 

Mod 2: @piye-ruya : priya, she/her, gay as fuck. i dont post bc writing things scares me but i give the ideas for posts a lot because i’m around a lot of interesting people. i’ve been on the blog since two days after its creation and saved it when iris accidentally deleted her tumblr. my favorite musicals are falsettos, spring awakening, and starkid as an entity (at the moment)

Mod 3: @miguelisaperson : miguel is technically a mod here but he does jackshit so nevermind (lol ily and you’re my best friend but yeah) he/him, so gay i don’t think he’s ever fucking touched a girl

iris and priya are basically kleinsen bc they’ve been friends since 1st grade except then iris was really mean to her for a while but now they’re lowkey dating (except in a genuinely platonic way,, idk we’re just affectionate friends)

Where do you get inspiration for tjk?

just life i guess, a lot of times we exaggerate a little to make it more interesting or alter stuff to make it make more sense in jared’s life. for the most part though it’s just from our lives

first kiss stories if applicable??

well our (iris and priya)’s first kiss was with each other bc of truth or dare in 5th grade and it was b a d because we were eating pizza and we were children,, you know,, but then for the rest of our friendship we just kiss all the time for some reason and i’m like 99% sure miguel has never kissed anyone

How’d you come up with this and why did you choose Jared specifically?

i (iris) got inspiration from @todayconnormurphy and I really wanted to have a tumblr that I posted on every day like those quote blogs or something, so I made this. I chose Jared because I wanted Connor but connor was already taken so I had to take my second favorite character. now i actually love jared with a fucking passion. he is my favorite and i read any fanfic with him in it.

Happy anniversary!!! You were the first blog I followed on tumblr, what was your favourite day you wrote?

i mean probably april 10. that was the day iris and priya saw dear evan hansen, which was our first broadway show and it we also made the post together while on our road trip to new york and listening to dodie and it just has a lot of positive memory wrapped up in it. it’s not an especially interesting post but it’s sentimental.

honorable mentions go to the one about jared’s kinks and about semen farming. (that was one of the only ones priya wrote by herself. it was quite a shock to wake up to.)

Today Jared Kleinman brought in a couple stuffed octopus toys that his mom made to school and his friends wanted them so he gave them out and now he has accidentally become the school octopus dealer. Random kids he doesnt know have started coming up to Jared asking to buy octopus toys from him and it is the most surreal fucking experience.
