This is my 'found object' it is a lamp shade made out of AA road maps and kebab sticks to hold it in place
Nice try…but who would want a back to front product stamp? lol
This is a good starting prototype attempt, however I don’t know many people who have household stamps and the scale is out of proportion, and seems like a bit of a rushed product.
It would have been on a smaller scale and would be used in offices or events etc. to stamp peoples hands. Thanks for the feedback.
yes but the task was to create a product from another product using the correct scale, otherwise there was no point the task being set.

Team 5 Presentation boards: Sarah-Jane Cope, Bethany Wright, Devina Dehal, Toby, Michael, Owen and Grace however graces was absent today!
The empty boxes need to be filled as it looks unprofessional and shows our group is not pulling together, however the layout is good and when fully finished will look professional.

Here are some photos of when me and Owen went to dartford and collected an took photos of furniture ideas to give us inspiration for our design ideas. Here are some photos of sofas, tables, chairs, cabinets and shelves from numerous different shops.
This is mine and Owens new and improved final design of the Tetris DIY shelving ‘Do It Your-SHELF’. In this new design it shows the Lego like lock in system at the top of each Tetris piece and at the bottom too which allows easy lock in method and not to complicated, but strong enough to hold each piece into place so the shelf cant fall and break. It also shows the various colour options that can be used. The materials that we are going to use for this final design are recycled materials which makes this furniture piece ECO-friendly and lightweight too, they will they be dye coloured to get the various colours. The target market for our shelf will be aimed at children and teens as it is a fun and game like furniture which children can enjoy re-arranging there shelves all the time with assistance of their parents, it is bright, light and fun, based on the Tetris game. We also designed a black and white shelf allowing older people to enjoy our Tetris shelving with a more sophisticated design.
Here are the screenshots of mine and Lewys' presentations of the brief Interior Architecture, it informs you of our final design and research and information on how we came to our final adjoining room designs.
This is in the style of mine and Lewys's mood boards for our new interior architecture project which consist of us designing and making two adjoining rooms from a building plan we was given, an then designing it in a style of the four movements we was given, which were (from top to bottom) English gardens, Asian, New York and finally Swedish. We then had to look the design deeper into the detail of each movement for example the Swedish design, this consisted more of the bright neutral colouring, and geometric flat pack designs. It is very minimalistic and has a very basic simple design. We then did this for all four movements and made a collage / mood board for them so that once chosen our final movement we could use it to inspire us on our final design.

SAATCHI GALLERY
Here are some photographs I took when I went to the Saatchi Gallery, the Saatchi gallery is a Art Museum based in London which exhibits contemporary art. It mainly exhibits paper based work, such as paintings on paper and paper origami, but with a contemporary twist and outlook towards it. You can see this through some of the photos I took.
Here listed are some of the artist from the some photos taken are;
Han Feng (floating city), Jannis Varelas (Maid costume) and Jodie Carey (arrangement 1 & 2).
SAATCHI GALLERY
On Monday we was given our new brief of 'folding architecture', this consisted us to focus on the art of Origami. We have to make a Origami structure that is based on the design of a contemporary roof.
So on the Tuesday we collected some Primary research to help us create our final piece of an Origami roof structure we did this by going to the Saatchi Gallery. Above are some of the photos I took of the exhibit pieces, we also took down some information from the tour guide.
I believe the tour was very useful and helped me to understand more about the techniques of origami, and what materials are best to be used for origami and got more into the history of Origami. It also helped me to brain storm some ideas for my final piece.
In Germany They have used these yellow blow up seating balloon object things, which get added to street objects such as poles and in between street and lamppost. Tis allows the public to sit down on random street objects so they can sit on them more comfortably, and there bright colours allows you to distinguish them as the street chair furniture.
I really like this street furniture cause it adds a bit of futuristic comfort to everyday street objects and allows the public to sit down wherever now as these chairs can be placed and adapted to any object.
These are some Street Furniture I found in France I thought they were very clever, they are boards stuck onto the wall they do different thing, however they are good because it gets people involved with the advertising board.
I think this is a really clever and smart idea because it gets people interested in the advertising and involved in what it is about. It also looks really good cause it is very subtle and each advertising board has its own purposes, such as one is a bench, one protects you from the rain like an umbrella, and the last one is like a slope on the stairs.
Litter bins are very useful objects, they keep the worlds streets as clean and tidy as possible, and normally every street you go down you are sure to find at least one litter bin.
It all started in the 1780's, when rubbish was all around you, there was no a corner on the street that was not covered by rubbish. Then a man named John Bin invented the bin to keep the streets of Britain tidy and clean.

Road signs have numerous amounts of purposes, from road name to direction instructions, to warnings on the road hazards.
In the 1880's was the beginning of the road sign revolution when 3 different unions came together to increase the safety of our roads, they were originally named 'Danger Boards' because they were firstly introduced to warn people of the road hazards. However as time went on the signs differed and were no longer just danger signs, but were informing people of road directions, these were introduced more in the 19th century.

Historical street furniture.
One of the first pieces of street furniture to be used was the drain cover. Drain covers were used when drains were installed into towns. The problem was that the waste would gather up in parts of the draining system and cause it to clog up and fail, meaning it was start to smell again.
I believe this was a good idea as it prevented bad smells on the streets and allowed workers to know where the problem was due to the numbers on the drain covers. Also I believe it makes the streets look better with a bit of a historic touch to them.
