Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook, through their travel log IGE MAJA, unlocked a three-phase apocalypse on X Boycott → Copyright → Report post.

We’ve always known that Jikook’s bond isn’t the fandom’s favorite topic. It’s rarely celebrated, often ignored..... What I didn’t expect was for their natural behavior in AYS2 to suddenly bring all that discomfort to the surface.

Phase 1: The Boycott

From the very first announcement that AYS2 would be released, one single term hit a nerve, hard ==> "NAMGAN" So hard, in fact, that it managed to irritate almost everyone. The reaction was immediate, loud, and intense… and it eventually escalated all the way to calls for boycotting AYS2.

And suddenly, everyone, including people who don’t even speak Korean, became certified experts. The timeline filled up with long threads lecturing everyone on the “real” meaning of 낭만 (nangman).

“Actually, it doesn’t mean romance 😌 It means atmosphere 😌 Poetic vibes 😌 Nostalgia 😌”

As if those concepts are somehow unrelated. As if romance doesn’t live exactly there.

Linguistics was working overtime. The dictionary, once again, was politely ignored.

And as we all heard, Mr. Jeon really loves using the term “namgman.” He used it so much I genuinely lost count. And yet, somehow, Jikookers are the ones being blamed, as if we put that word in Jeon Jungkook’s mouth.

We didn’t invent the term. We didn’t ask him to repeat it. And we certainly didn’t ask them to make a travel log together ,they chose to do it.

Honestly, we’re victims too, in a way. (LOL.)

Just kidding. Truly, I’m grateful to them for sharing all of this with us , for letting us travel alongside them, even from afar. There’s so much care in the way they include us, in the way they open a small window into their world.

Phase 2: The Copyright Era — When Feelings Become Illegal

Then we entered the diagnosis stage.

Apparently, Jikook, especially Jungkook, now has separation anxiety. Because yes, the internet has decided it’s qualified to diagnose emotional bonds.

Personally? I think both of them are the same. The only difference is that Jungkook is expressive. He speaks before thinking. He shares excitement without filtering it.

So when Mr. Jeon Jungkook openly talked about how excited he was to share a bed with Jimin, complete with that little excited dance and that unmistakable expression on his face

And then… we entered the forbidden zone.

A photo. A clear video. Them. On the bed.

Honestly, at this stage, if they could copyright eye contact, they would. If they could copyright closeness, they would. If they could report eye contact, breathing in the same space, or existing too comfortably, they absolutely would

The funny part? Reality doesn’t care, Park Jimin and Jeon Jungkook certainly don’t.

They can boycott a show. They can copyright a clip. They can report posts until their fingers hurt.

But what they can’t do is erase: – years of shared history – natural gravity – comfort without effort – the way they always find each other

Whatever Jikook is best friends, soulmates, lovers, or something that doesn’t need a label, it exists outside of fandom control.

Today has been overwhelming to say the least..we got Jikook content from morning - for me - to night. As she came and went, the moon saw us scream, kicking our feet, and finally declare that True Love is ALIVE and WELL as we crashed out over the indisputable connection shared by these newly engaged men..

Some are suddenly claiming that what Jimin and Jungkook share is nothing more than friendship. Some say that what they have is an open relationship/fwb. Anything other than a stable relationship. Some say they feel “queerbaited” by Jikook. Others are accusing them of cheating — cheating each other, cheating their supposed girlfriends, and whatever else they can come up with.

It’s honestly a whole minefield at this point.

I know why some jkkrs dropped Jikook the moment those rumours appeared — without even pausing to check if any of it had substance, or choosing to accept it as truth while ignoring all the obvious plot holes. It’s because they’ve always seen themselves as "above" other shippers because of how different Jikook is compared to other ships. That mindset — constantly looking down on others — made them terrified of ever being seen like "those shippers". They got so deep into that superiority complex that they even started downplaying Jikook’s moments and theories, worried it would make them look delusional if they acknowledged them. And that eventually made them woke to the point that now they're believing the words of people whose only goal is to hurt Jimin and Jungkook, and to damage their image with completely fabricated lies.

There’s also another group of "woke" jkkrs who don’t want to fully leave the ship, but also refuse to stand firmly in it. What Jikook show is "gay enough" for them to ship, but somehow still not enough — not until Jikook come out and explicitly say they’re in a long-term, committed relationship. Until that day, for this group, it’ll always be "Jikook are in an open relationship, Jikook are just fwb," and whatever else fits their narrative.

And of course, they’re willing to ignore every glaring plot hole in the rumours linking Jikook with women.

What if Daeun attached herself to Jungkook to make it look like they were dating? What if she did it at the same time she was spinning lies to connect herself to Jimin? What if she’s been exposed multiple times as a liar?What if the whole situation looks suspicious from every angle? None of that matters to them. They made up their minds the second a woman entered the picture — same with Jungkook’s rumours. The inconsistencies in the video don’t matter. The obvious edits don’t matter. The fact that it’s another blurry, unrecognizable clip doesn’t matter. Whether it’s real or fake doesn’t matter. A woman is being linked to Jungkook, so to them it must be true. Because how could two handsome, rich, talented young men possibly be in a committed long-term relationship with each other, right? That’s the logic they’re running with. So, to seem "chill" and "cool", they’ve started accepting anything thrown at them — and labeling anyone who questions it as delusional or not being "realistic".

To those who are crying loud about getting queerbaited, I dedicate this whole post to you:

Some of them have created a whole storyline where Jikook break up every few months, get back together, date multiple women, and somehow cheat on each other too. But their narrative doesn’t hold up because Jikook consistently behave like two people in a solid, long-term relationship — not whatever chaotic plot they're writing for them.

These people are determined to believe that Jikook aren’t long-term, even when we literally had Jimin counting 2315 days from November 8, 2015 and finding a way to subtly celebrate it in front of an audience without blowing their cover. But of course, they’ll brush it off as a coincidence. They’ll also dismiss Jungkook captioning his TikTok video with "I go the other way" just a few hours after the Stationhead where he kept getting asked about having a girlfriend. They’ll ignore the person's face in the billboard in WHO a song where Jimin is singing about finding his forever person. They’ll overlook every hint Jikook leave — because for them, it’s all just coincidence until Jikook literally spell it out in a press conference.

As if they were waiting for km to be proven straight this whole time.

So many people are so afraid of looking like taekookers that they let heteronormativity take the lead.

But every time something like this happens (and it's happened many, many times since 2017) the rumors aren't even the worst part; it's the way people are so ready to accept them that really gets to me.

Don't!!

Don't believe everything your eyes see.

Sadly, once upon a not so long ago, seeing was believing, including in footage.

We aren't there anymore.

Deep fakes, AI generated media is no longer a once in a while big deal occurrence. It's here, it surrounds us, and unless the creators have basic decency to let us know, many a times this media can be and is passed as true.

And to many of such creators, that's exactly what they want. To sell a lie. A lie that is so much harder to disprove than proving the truth.

Because, how do you prove something like that is fake? Made up? That someone took the time and trouble to create media that can harm one or more other human beings.

And when they do this, when they create these little media 'bombs' meant to blow up someone's life (metaphorically), they make sure to put in just enough details to make you go: "hmm.. that is him...", while the other details that don't exactly fit are left unnoticed by most, sadly.

And when those that notice it call it out, well, by then it's gone viral and those calling it out are called the delusional. Because, how can it not be real, right?

But you see, especially in this day and age we need to stop and ask the questions before we believe... ANYTHING... EVERYTHING...

Kind of sad that in the day and age when almost all is out there for us to see, there is a probability that what we are shown is twisted, a lie, a concoction.

So, before going with your initial knee jerk reaction, as hard as that may be, because it's so overwhelming or disturbing or problematic, stop for one second and think:

Think about the what.

Think about the who.

Think about the when - the timeline of the media.

Think about the how.

Think about the where.

Think about the when - of the posting.

And sometimes you will find those little pieces of clarity.

If you just stop and look for just one more second.

If you just stop and think for just one more second.

If you just stop and remember for just one more second.

You all know exactly what I'm talking about here.

Believe me I've seen it ALL.

If this is important to you, to know the truth, not to just see and run with it because it's the easiest thing to do - he's a man, he's living up to the image people want him to have - stop and look.

Properly.

And you will see. The little discrepancies. Those that are so easily overlooked when you are quick to accept.

And after you stopped to see, stop and think, stop and remember.

Take the timeline into consideration. The supposed when and where. Things we know that happened right before and right after. Things said and done. Think about the who. Think about everything you know from before, from after.

People are talking about his privacy invaded and the need to protect his privacy, and yes, they are right. But see, this clip isn't an invasion of privacy, this clip is defamation . The motive behind it is to blemish his name, his character. And as for his privacy, well he knew back then that he was being followed, that sasaengs were camping outside his place 24/7. He knew it. He addressed it. Multiple times.

Let that little piece of information that you might have forgotten sink in before you decide to watch that clip again and go with the narrative it's trying to paint. A narrative we've seen come up before.

Yeah, at the end of the day you will believe what you want to believe. I see it daily, people falling for shit that's thrown their way, without research, without stopping and thinking logically.

But please don't just accept it without stopping and thinking. Properly. Evaluating. Reasoning. Not assuming.

Give him at the very least that.

There is someone that is clearly out to hurt him. To hurt them.

3 weeks to AYS2 dropping.

This is the last time I’m going to speak on this topic, but I have some things I want to say. My thoughts are not up for debate. You can take them or leave them, but I’m standing on the business that I’m about to say. Lots of JB references in the first part of this, but I’ll stop because this is serious now.

Song Daeun is a menace. She always has been and she always will be. Other companies have had to squash dating rumors with her before, but posting this video of Jimin is by far the most sinister thing she’s ever done, and in my opinion, Taekookers are the other half to blame for paying her broke ass and giving her the attention that she so desperately needs. She’s denied dating Jimin in the past by the way when her “fans” have asked her. Claimed she didn’t know him.

She’s also tried to imply that she was with JK telling her dog that “appa’s song (Seven) is playing”. She’s mentally unstable at best, evil at worst and I’m tired of ya’ll trying to act like her and Jimin were ever possibly romantically linked.

I’m ashamed actually that so many damn Jikookers on this app are just throwing up their hands and saying it really happened, they were really together at some point- five years ago mind you when Jikook were screaming at the top of their lungs but yeah OK sure Jan.

What seems to be the sticking point for people is the statement, and I’ll be honest at first, it left a bad taste in my mouth. I posted about as such, so you know I’m telling the truth. And I’m not removing that part of my history because I think it makes the context of what I’m about to explain to even more important.

I didn’t even believe it was real at first until people reminded me that this is how BigHit has handled other dating rumors in the past with Namjoon, Tae, ect. They give statements to the media and the media runs them.

The statement was vague, and I think that was on purpose.

Because the statement wasn’t for us

The statement was for her.

The statement was a warning in huge red letters that said try this again and there will be consequences because we aren’t taking legal action now. Trust us; you leak more videos, and we will.

And I fully believe that Jimin was involved in how the situation would be handled. Legal battles are messy in the US, and I’m sure they aren’t much better in Korea drawn out, expensive and emotionally taxing. Not to mention it’s possible that consultants didn’t feel there was enough grounds to even sue her or didn’t want to risk her retaliating in the process, but trust me this woman is unhinged enough to do that if she kept a five year old video and posted it where SHE looks like the insane one, not Jimin. She has no shame, no self esteem, ugly inside and out.

When Jimin lived in 9-1 they were NEIGHBORS because she was apparently dating a guy who lived there but even if she could afford that place on her own with her 0 won acting salary, they were neighbors. That’s the context. They probably said hi to one another, saw each other from time to time. Maybe they even became enough to be friends, although I doubt it. This woman has a public reputation.

But that elevator video with her screeching and hyperventilating… was anything but friendly. The look on his face was complete shock and not in a happy “nice to see you” way. He didn’t go to hug her, show any affection, regardless of whether he knew she was filming him or not he was NOT happy to see her.

The “JK” video which I maintain to this day wasn’t him plus the whole woman in that video was pregnant 😂 at least showed signs of affection. 0 affection in that Daeun video.

So think about it. A deranged woman who drinks on her TikTok lives has nothing else to do but fuel rumors and get paid to create narratives reads a vague statement that she can’t spin in her favor because that’s the point of the statement.

This situation was different. Other idols could deny dating her because she just associated some clothes and merch to them she didn’t have them on a video that she KEPT for five whole years with ill intent.

They had to tread much lighter in this situation to keep her from retaliating and to take- not just the high road but Jimin’s power back.

It’s worth noting that many k-army have clearly stated that the language used didn’t explicitly hint to a romantic relationship, but English speakers see “relationship” in the second half of the translated statement and all hell breaks loose while the aroace in me is like 🙄 so typical for people to associate that word with romance only, add to the fact that the word isn’t even a good translation of what was actually said in Korean, but I digress.

Think what you want, but until you’ve given it some more thought and space and RESEARCH, keep it to yourself. I’ll be honest, I had to do that. I had to sit with the statement more, look at the facts, read accurate translations from NATIVE speakers without an agenda, and put the delicate context of the situaton of her history into the statement.

Hear me now: Ya’ll are NOT going to rain on my Jikook parade. They didn’t break up so Jimin could date that psycho. Give Jimin more credit like DAMN.

I’m devastated because we finally got Jimin back from MS and back to seeing glimpses of his life of his personality on social media, and that evil witch violated him and took him away from us.

She invaded his privacy by filming him in that elevator. She invaded it again posting that absolutely fucked up video five years later.

I hope he is okay. I hope he knows this isn’t his fault. I hope he comes back when he’s ready and stronger than ever-even if it’s only on Weverse.

And I KNOW we will get wonderful magical Jikook moments at some point because they can’t help it. And I’m sure by then, yall will be acting like you never doubted them. 😒

I’ll remember though, how ya’ll acted about this. I’ll remember because this didn’t make me doubt shit. I’ve always been of the belief that since they got together whatever year that was that they never broke up and dated other people. I personally haven’t seen anything convincing to believe it, and I think they are too codependent (for better or for worse haha) to even handle being in the same band still if they broke up.

But if and I’m talking the biggest if in the universe that did happen in the timeline, neither of them dated Song Daeun that I’m 100% positive on that. Matter of fact, I’ll deposit it at the bank for you. I’ll write you a check.

Take your doom and gloom and doubt of Jikook somewhere else away from my blog. This is why I’ll never turn anons back on too.

If I have to protect my peace because everyone keeps spiraling about her nonsense, I’ll take a hiatus until ya’ll have gotten it together. It took me a couple days to process and get myself together. Try doing the same. And don’t take my word for it, look into her history with her references to Jungkook and Taehyung and other idols outside of BTS. Read the statement from the perspective of ensuring that she is shut down from posting more, and read what the actual words were that were used and what closer translations are. I’ve seen those floated around here. And then touch some grass and trust in Jikook. They’ll come back.

Then call them best friends, Becky. Say it. Say that Jimin and Jungkook are connected-at-the-hip-share-a-single-brain-cell-soulmate-level best friends. Just like Jimin and Tae, right? Say it.

Actually, be specific and call them the closest duo in Bangtan, because at a minimum that’s what they are. Like, if you don’t want to say they’re each other’s real life best friend (meaning outside of BTS), at least say that they are closer to each other than they are to any other member — because you can at least acknowledge that, right?

And if you’re so sure they’re “brothers” then celebrate it! Stop pretending it isn’t special, call it a bromance! Ooh and ah over it, like people do when married male actors have a public bromance. Call them the next Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman, the next Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey. (Even if, rather than publicly roasting and joking with each other; they are more often than not sweetly supportive and flirtatiously complimentary…That’s fine, call them a CHEESY bromance).

But nobody will.

It’s either, “ALL SEVEN of them are so close and love each other like brothers” or “Jungkook has such a big crush on Namjoon 🤭” or “vmin are still the closest, they have a song about it!” or “Korean men have skinship in their friendships, shippers are so weird, stop projecting your fantasies” but it’s never “ah, well, season 2 of that soft little show? No one is surprised. As expected from the best friends who enlisted in the military under a rare, special Buddy system. Jikook are jikook. Of course they want to hang out together 24-7.”

People flood to the comments section to (very mildly, with much restraint) praise their bond, but NO ONE will call it the closest in the group, even though it objectively is. Well, no one but a subset of the fandom who immediately get called creeps and weirdos and fetishizers.

No one but shippers will acknowledge their closeness and it’s so obvious why:

Because if you acknowledge their closeness, if you do anything but minimize and ignore it, it starts to look a whole lot like something else.

And people are too homophobic to allow that.

Jungkook and Jimin enlisting together under a Buddy system that no other idols in the same group have ever used shows closeness.

Jungkook and Jimin filming not just one but TWO seasons of a travel show that primarily follows JUST the TWO of them (when they are part of a band of 7) shows CLOSENESS.

Jungkook going to Jimin’s house after a concert to cook him dinner and then the two of them going out the next day to presumably spend White Day together shows CLOSE. NESS.

Jungkook going live in 2023 every time Jimin left town, and mentioning Jimin relentlessly and making him flat out the entire topic of some of the lives shows that Jungkook thinks of him when he’s gone.

Jungkook complaining that he missed Jimin when they were both busy, Jungkook saying he wants to film travel shows with Jimin until they’re 50, Jimin mentioning Jungkook in the letters he posted while enlisted alongside him, Jungkook’s voice giggling from behind the camera while he films Jimin’s dance challenge for him…

Jimin saying if he could take one thing with him to a desert island it would be Jungkook. Jungkook saying if he was a girl he’d want to date a guy like Jimin. Jungkook showing up with a hickey Jimin gave him because they got drunk together and Jungkook wouldn’t stop spinning him in his arms. The same arms he proudly carried Jimin out of a concert with, while Jimin giggled and blushed.

Jason Momoa and Henry Cavill? Tom Holland and Jake Gylenhaal? Selena and Taylor? THEY COULD NEVER.

Everything jikook shows us points to a best-friendness of EPIC PROPORTIONS at the LEAST. They should be the best friend duo that gets talked about the MOST IN BANGTAN. They’re so close locals should know about it. Not Jimin and Hobi. Not Jimin and Taehyung. Not Hoseok and Yoongi. Not Yoongi and Namjoon. Not Jungkook and Jin. Not the maknae line. Jikook have lapped all of them, and they have for years, but ESPECIALLY in the last 3 years.

And in the last two weeks? In the last two/three WEEKS???

If Jungkook and Jimin were a man and a woman the events of the last two weeks would be a HARD LAUNCH, and EVERYONE KNOWS IT.

It is only — I repeat: ONLY — heteronormativity that keeps the majority of ARMY from assuming they are dating. That’s it. That’s literally the only reason anyone in the fandom is even arguing about what they are right now. (Well, that and rival ships, which at this point should really only be referred to as patched-together inflatable rafts).

Call them just best friends. I respect that take! Some people don’t see the romance and tension and affection that I see, and that’s cool! Call them the best of friends.

But for the love of god stop minimizing their closeness. Stop pretending they treat anyone else in the band the way they treat each other. Stop pretending that they’re not choosing each other over and over and over again.

And don’t call them fake, or forced, unless you want to talk about the fact that everything we see about them is official content. Not unless you want to pry open the can of worms that is your parasocial relationship with them and acknowledge the hard truth that you actually don’t know either of them at all.

And this bitch, she just loves her some good Jikook.

At this point we know Jikook showed up at Jin's concert.

TOGETHER.

Unlike the three members that arrived separately yesterday, today JM, JK and Yoongi seemed to arrive together in the same car.

Could have been up to stuff at the company. Could be other reasons... like still allowing for some deniability (although that one kind of seems less plausible seeing what transpired after).

And then the three left at the same time.

Together?

NOPE.

Yoongi went on his merry old way tucked into his own car.

And JM and JK?

Low and behold, those two, inseparable as they have been since their discharge (and I'm talking about openly, publicly, for all of us to see), jumped into another car, together (act surprised why don't you?).

TOGETHER.

And on the way out, JK stopped, of course, and waited for his bae (like he does oh so often), because JM had to film the clip for his IG story...

And then they were ready to finally go...

TOGETHER.
