TNS Week was created as a way to keep the fandom alive after the show ended. The purpose of this event is to create fanworks for The Next Step! These can be fanfics, fanart, edits, moodboards, gifsets, whatever you want to make! Create your fanwork for any generation, character, or ship. As long it's for The Next Step it counts!
Anything you share here on Tumblr please tag this blog and use the tags #tnsweek so I can see it and reblog it! Please note that I am based in PST/UTC-8 so give me a day or so after you post to share it here.
Can I use AI?
While I can't stop you from using AI to create your fanwork, I would like to ask you to please refrain and share creations you've made. We're here to support each other, whether you're creating something for the first time or the hundredth.
Do I have to follow the themes exactly?
No! The themes are there to guide you and serve as inspiration. You should be having fun, not dreading making your fanworks.
Where can I share my work?
Fanworks can be shared on Tumblr, TikTok, or AO3, including in a collection that will be shared closer to the week.
Why those dates?
March 8, 2013 was when The Next Step first aired. This week was chosen to start the Monday before March 8 and end on the following Sunday.
