Binghe, of course, receives his share of attention and care from Tianlang-Jun in the universes where he grows up with his father or later develops a relationship with him. But you see, there's a fundamental difference between an ordinary child (even a biological, long-awaited one, born from a loved one) and that strange, ugly changeling you snatched from the raccoons at the dump when you were looking for something to do and dreaming of having something of your own.
So, in some way, Binghe obviously feels like this is the only thing in which Zhuzhi-Lang has outdone him and taken first place (and it seems to be one of the few that truly matters, unlike the number of school friends, or good grades, or…). No matter how precious a son he is, he will never have that special bond that Tianlang-Jun maintains with his nephew.
He's a little furious, but otherwise determined to get even. Someday. He's confident he'll succeed.

It's truly disgusting to realize that I don't write anymore, not because I'm not interested, or because I've forgotten how, or because my brain is too overloaded to cobble together anything more than three miserable, fragmentary sentences sufficient for a headcanon (though that, at least, is part of it). But because I used to write for the community, for people who truly enjoyed it, and I knew I'd get a response, and that feedback motivated me and gave me the strength to do more. Now I'm alone, and I don't have the strength to gather new people, and doing something so labor-intensive without feedback is unbearable (and it reminds me that there was something good before, something irretrievably lost, and it's my fault, and…). And I just have no idea how to break this vile cycle. …but maybe I'll have a couple of ideas on how to fit this into Tianlang-jun. or in shang qinghua. They are so charming in the sense that you can project completely different problems onto them, and they really will fit them like a glove.
Every time his human (Shen Jiu? Xiang Fei? Shen Yuan? Take your pick) settles in to read a book (especially if it's yellow books), the Tianlang-cat detects it with some sixth sense and immediately appears next to man, no matter where he was sleeping before. He will meow loudly and dramatically until he's allowed onto the sofa. And as soon as a spot is cleared for him, he will immediately sprawl out on the man's arm or stomach, purring and clawing at the book.
How does he determine when it's time to sleep/rest and when it's time to read? It's unknown. But rest assured, as soon as the human opens a spicy chapter, this little brat will be right there to ruin all the reading pleasure.
The artist I commissioned the Tianlang-jun art called him "the advertising personality of fly agaric ties," and I've been struggling for two days now because I keep remembering it at random moments at work and making involuntary squeaks and--
He would be the most disgusting and stupid cover boy. He looks good on the poster, but God forbid you see the backstage footage or encounter him in action. He's an absolute disaster.

Speaking of universes where Tianlang-Jun is raising two children—Binghe and Zhuzhi-Lang.
I think it would be really funny (and completely plausible) if they had some similar behavior patterns, but for completely different reasons. For example, you know that moment when a child squeezes a cat too hard? And the parents are like, "Come on, lick it too," with the subtext being, "Get that thing out of your face right now"?
Little Zhuzhi-Lang is really bad at reading context and intonation. Uncle told him to lick the cat? Well, he wanted to do it himself, but thanks for the guidance. *lick*
Little Binghe, on the other hand, is perfectly aware that things are about to get roughed up. He's just a jerk who enjoys testing the patience of adults (especially his hapless father). Dad tells him to put the cat away immediately and not dare drag it near his face, or he'll get punished? Oh, he's really going to risk punishing him? Sure, ten times, let him try. *aggressively licking cat*
As a result, Tianlang-jun has two completely different children, who, for completely different reasons, are equally gleefully licking the cat right in front of him, after he's clearly told them NOT to.
Let him deal with them however he wants; he absolutely deserves the helpless struggle to deal with assholes like himself. Consider it karma from the world.

In the modern world, fem!Jiu constantly rages and growls at fem!Tianlang-Jun for her fondness for wearing low-cut tops and dresses with prominent cleavage. "Vulgar," "disgusting," "obscene" — the stream of comments never ceases as soon as they're in the same room.
Everyone thinks that the reserved, abrasive Jiu, with her modest B-cup, is simply jealous of the confident and outgoing TLJ, with her more visually interesting F-cup. But from Jiu's perspective, it's different: TLJ is her woman, and her breasts belong to Jiuu, too. And none of those idiots who stare at the demoness in the office have the slightest right to stare at her things.
