Jk goes to Tokyo with Jimin.
Tae chose to spend time with his family since he has made it clear it’s very important for him & barely gets to see them. Possible self-separation for damage control. This situation seems to put them in a bad mood for some days. Jimin mentioned Tae didn’t pick up his phone.
The Tokyo trip broken down: Jimin has said that he has discussed visiting Japan with Tae and Jk. However, jk and Jimin had time off together at the same time, and because their travel habits are the same, they went together. Tae had plans with his family.
Jimin said he had discussed his interest in visiting Japan to both Tae and Jk. Jk and Jimin had the same time off and went together.
Again, Jimin saying he talked to both Tae and Jk about Japan but the trip lined up with Jk’s schedule and not Tae’s. Notice Jimin said “I told him [Jk] and V that I would like to go with THEM to Japan.” Them = Tae AND Jk.

Tae also went to Japan at the same time, but with family. He posted a video of himself in a Spider-Man mask at Universal Studio for Halloween, with the caption “Halloween party”. Note that he did not upload this to the BTS Twitter acct until November 7.
A fan spotted Tae with his mom on October 28 in Osaka, which is the date Jk and Jimin left for Tokyo. They tweeted the below photo on October 31st, before Tae tweeted the video on November 7, making this spotting credible.
As far as GCF Tokyo, because it is constantly brought up, we wouldn’t be doing our part in being credible if we didn’t address it -
In the GCF, Troye Sivan’s song “there for you” plays. Troye himself has said this song is for fans, and the MV confirms it. It is not a romantic song, but a thank you song to fans, if anything, a friendship song about being there for each other.

In the final pic below, Jimin’s hand is on the left and Jk’s is on the right. The supposed couples rings they “bought” are in the center. Comparing the rings they are wearing to the rings in the center, it’s very clear the rings bought were not a matching set/couples rings.

Also important to note - Jk has made it clear there is no main model for his GCFs. Jimin being the main model / only model for GCF Tokyo couldn’t be helped. It’s disrespectful to take Jk’s hardwork and art in his GCFs to fuel narratives.
To be clear, Jk reiterated there is no main model on at least one other occasion.
