The Junk Drawer of Relics

Finally starting a raven - actually timing it this time to see how long it takes me to complete it (35 mins and counting to get here). Completed using only black ink so far (though white might be added soon) and a paintbrush because I lost my pens. It's oddly working well so far though - the bleeding of the ink is really working for the feathers.

The reason the chosen one was chosen was because their soul was empty. They were chosen because they had a mind that could be filled. They were chosen because the real hero was dead. Killed. Murdered - because obedience was easier to shape than integrity. And so they crowned the corpse that still lived and called it destiny.

My latest? Why am I so drawn to month/day names? And it was that one that made me realise I like things just because I like them. There doesn't need to be a deep traumatic or neurodivergent reason for why I love morally grey characters, or hate onions, or want to sit in the middle of a forest but don't like staring out at sea. Sometimes the curtains are just fucking blue. And that's enough.
