okay, first of all, LAMED. literally lamed. we get to hang out with a LITERAL ELDER inside their realm. guys this is huge
also they're beautiful (i'm too gay for this quest)
the quest says "relive your memories". this is pretty much a confirmation that we've been playing as stewie this season, which has been theorised and makes a lot of sense but. ow
also, i've been basically cosplaying stewie, and yes, it is 100% them, even if we don't have any written confirmation. the hair is the same, and no one else has this hairstyle. also if i remember correctly, the season of duets memory model for stewie is the same as used here
if you've played the quests and watched the episodes, there isn't really anything new in this quest, but i'm still putting the screenshots here

we also unlock the ability to go back in time with the lantern here. unfortunately, my phone was too fried, and i left this for later but. yay
you know, looking back, the quests actually do a nice job at characterising the dusk ember. i still wish we'd had enough time to get the characterisation in the movie itself, but what we get in the season is very good indeed. loved the seasonal quests heartbreak yay :3
oh stewie does have that stray tuff at the back!! I guess it is him. And it seems i have more evidence of stewie's body and resh's soul combining to create sky children... Hmmm
Also omg lamed u got nerfed so hard but im happy ur here and i can continue my fanfic and also think abt how it IS possible for the elders to come back down to their realms. Like omg i thought megabird ruled them like.. not allowed to or somethin (idk why i thought of that lol)

Im starting to think dusk ember ISNT hopeful steward
I made a theory like a few weeks ago after doing eden again that i think the dusk ember gave up their body and the dawn ember gave up their soul (we see the black and white kids from eden ending in one of the trailers). This sacrifice from them both ends up creating skykids. Luckily, this theory had wiggle room if dusk ember and stewie arent the same, and it seems like they arent to me at least.
The only real pointer we have is the hair, but the dusk embers hair is shorter and has a tuff at the top. When they had a parental figure, their hair was more kept, and it more closely resembles.. the default hair. And even though clothes can be an iffy topic when differentiating characters, I don't think we see any other kids with the same clothes as dusk ember. Again, their clothes are skykids' default.
As cool as it would've been if stewie was the dusk ember, it seems he may not be. Then again, though, if he gave up his body, then his soul would still be around. Maybe stewie still is the dusk ember, but we are the vessels shaped in his body. Idk. But yeah thats what i wanted off my chest i guess
I did some thinking, and now I’m wondering, if the devs go down the route of having Golden Cheese and subjects, and closest friends from her kingdom, get resurrected towards the end of the story, how on earth are they gonna make it work without pissing their fans off?
I love all of them with all my heart, but i think it would be nice for them not to come so it can taught that we need to others go even if it hurts, Queen Golden Cheese has to move and accept that there will be sorrow in the world, not everything will stay and learn to accept that what is happening now its the truth and that she must grow
It would be nice if in the end of the event she would just stand back from everything, and do what dark choco did, that way she will have time to reflect and accept that this is it and there is no turning back from it
I honestly agree with that. Besides, the other ancients will be there to help and support her since they’re her friends and will always be there for her. plus, those from her kingdom will be with her in spirit, and she’ll always remember all the wonderful moments she had while they were still around.
(On a side note: the devs are really going down the route of Dark Enchantress being irredeemable)
If Queen Golden loved them all that much, She wouldnt like for them to stay put and not being able to move on for their next adventure. Only the memory of them would stay
I do believe the ancients would help her along the way. I imagine this scene of letting her people go, them passing beside her saying their goodbyes and going wherever they wanted. The Queen would start crying has the last souls would leave and the ancients would confort her and telling everything would be ok. The scene would end of them four seating on the ground with a campfire in front, recalling the oficial art, as they watched the little the souls on the sky making their way, while it played a slowed softer version of the Golden Cheese Kingdom Theme.
But with the idea of dark enchantress that wont be possible
Oh god this reminded me that dark enchantress is canonically using dead souls to make abominations in beast yeast so letting the souls go would unknowingly help DE a lot 😭😭
