i don’t mind if you need to drop a thread, don’t know how to reply to something, or just can’t find it in yourself to write a starter for me.  you aren’t obligated to give me, or anybody else, your time and effort.  you NEVER have to explain yourself to me or warn me about a drop/delay. i will NEVER heckle you about it. ever. at all.

life happens, man. people have different writing styles and processes, motivation doesn’t always come to us, and sometimes character interactions just won’t work out no matter how hard you try.

i’d be an idiot to fault anybody for that, or to hold it against them. replies aren’t that fucking important to me. this shit is for fun, and if our interactions aren’t fun for you, it’s perfectly fine to step away from them. i encourage it. please don’t push yourself to do anything you don’t enjoy doing just because you feel like your writing partner will be upset with you if you fail to cater to their needs.

if anybody consistently makes you feel that way, you need to drop them.

just… take care of yourselves.
