Whoever said Black Americans acted like white people to other black people was telling the truth. Right now they are mad that David Jonsson was cast as the new Black panther and they are busy crying about "American roles" given to British black people🤣 I mean black panther is from Wakanda a country in Africa, a fictional place that does not exist. I enjoyed this season, I expected more since Lestat was such a great character in season 1. He is still very entertaining to watch. Lestat is not the problem with this season it's everything/one that is not Lestat,I hope season 4 would be better

How are you mad that Armand wanted Louis to apologize for being mean to him when the whole season you were crying everyday calling Louis names because he didn't apologize to Lestat(who abused him and cheated on him) for being mean to him?? You are showing yourselves. Louis doesn't owe anyone an apology except Claudia

I have never read the books but I heard that Louis briefly dies at some point and gets disconnected(from other vampires?) Don't know. But since in the show that didn't happen I have a theory, what if since his head is chopped and Armand whatever he is up to with Lestat is threatening not to attach Louis' head and when he does its kind of too late and Louis briefly dies but they bring him back with the help of Merrick???
Just finished reading A Song of Achilles and I am so not okay. I mean I knew Achilles was going to die even before I read the book I knew he dies because he is famous but Patroclus😩😭😭😱 I still cannot believe it. I am devastated

Can't wait for the finale to air so I can rewatch from episode 1 without the horrible screeners who were doom posting telling us things will hit like a ton of bricks only for them to be nothing😭 I am so glad they were not given the finale cause I'm sure they would have already ruined it too and caused unnecessary panic
Initial disclaimer: I love Louis. I love Lestat. I have no hate towards any IWTV/TVL characters, I find them all beautiful and appalling.
That being said: what's with the weird amount of people so offended that Louis has a bad reaction to finding out about something that, frankly, it's almost impossible to have a good reaction to?
Louis gets a freaking link to a video where Lestat, who he is tentatively making progress with towards a more healthy relationship, is having sex with his mother, whom Louis was JUST introduced to as just his manager/situationship. Like, realistically, what is one expected to do here?
Yes, she's abusing him. But it doesn't look like that from the one video, and Lestat certainly wasn't forthcoming (and isn't calling it abuse himself) so how was Louis meant to magically know he was meant to support Lestat through this hard time?
I think the scene played out exactly as it should, honestly. Louis needed to see Lestat panicking to even realize this is more insidious than it looks, and also he has some pretty good points. It was fucking weird that Lestat hung her portrait, and Gabriella is at least partially responsible for the mess that is Lestat. Yeah, he probably shouldn't have said sick, and it's definitely hypocritical for him to be that judgy, but again, LOOK AT THIS SET OF CIRCUMSTANCES.
And then Lestat has a panic attack and Louis immediately drops the judgement to help. And then he very gently tries to compare the situation to his own abuse so Lestat can see the similarities. And then very gently draws back when it becomes clear Lestat isn't ready for that. Like, really, that is an extraordinary amount of compassion!
I dunno, man, it just seems some people decided to hate Louis (and other characters, this isn't a one-time thing) and now he can never win with those people no matter what he does. It really is baffling.
People acting like Louis was given front row to the relationship like us the audience. I despise Lescels and Lestat boy moms
Is widow's bay horror because I just downloaded the whole season cause I thought it was comedy, I cannot watch horror😭
I think if they hadn't included the first scene with Louis in the beginning the head chop would have stressed me more
the acting is what still redeems this show in my eyes but there was this thing that was bugging me since episode 2 that I couldn't quite name but now i know what it was. dialogue. a lot of dialogue in this season is straight up on riverdale level of cringe and fake self awareness. justice for antoinette is something cheryl blossom would say

The argument/fight scene between Loustat is probably the best scene in the season so far. Very well acted by both and great dialogue with valid points from both sides
Did Daniel release the video because he was checking where Louis stood with Lestat and since he managed to get in his head realized that Louis is basically back on good terms with Lestat and decided to release the video so Louis would leave him but when he didn't he also had to have his head chopped
