i remember when i was really young in like 2011-2013ish, i read a tokyo mew mew fanfiction on fanfiction.net

it was a looong fic if i remember right, but i only remember bits and pieces because it was so long ago, i mostly remember the last chapter/last few chapters? i remember it Was finished

the main pairing was ichigo/kisshu, there was an alien oc named parfait who wanted to take kisshu for herself or something i think but i definitely distinctly remember her being named parfait.

the plot was like, different aliens want to target earth because they pinpointed the people who the three canon aliens were in love with somehow, and they wanted to wipe out humanity or wreck the canon aliens emotionally or something like that???

i do remember the canon ability of the aliens to temporarily take animal souls was a big focus, and eventually in the final battle ichigo gets badly injured or something and kisshu takes her soul to protect her, and if i remember right it was like, pretty graphic about the amount of emotional and physical pain experienced by both of them before the pov character (it was either ichigo or kisshu, i think ichigo tho) passed out, and then everyone was fine after that fade to black.

I have a hard one for funsies!

All I remember is the cover, it was two girls on a beach (shot with them walking to the right, while the photo is aimed straight at the ocean) the younger girl is obviously almost passed out and the older is half dragging her looking anguished. It was art not photography and had a soft kind of pastel feel to it

I remember being enamoured with the cover, but I honestly can't remember if I ever checked it out of our middle school library 😅 (so unfortunately I have no idea what it was about!)

I was in ms from '00-'03 and I'm pretty sure it was written before that! Good luck!!

I remember some of the plot and some of the cover.

Cover: mostly red and green, there is a stone? tower in the center with a girl with her back facing the reader with a red? cloak. The cloak may have had grey fur?

Plot: There are many towers and something to do with magic. Some good and some sorta bad maybe? One of the towers disappeared or at this one specific tower you can see the others but they can't see this one. Girl (protagonist) ends up kidnapped(not in a creepy way) to be taught or learn about something to do with them? The main thing I remember is that there's a dinner scene and she sits near a guy (who she had a mildly antagonistic relationship with, because she was learning from the Important Man and being ungrateful) who separates his food groups to prevent it from touching and expects her to make fun of him, but she just references how she knew someone (from her home village?) who was also particular about that.

I think I read it before 2016. I don't remember finishing it.
