sometimes people don’t come back. and sometimes it’s okay.

How can you say that you know me through and through, when I have only known myself in blurry moments, in halves that are barely even halves? How can you think that you know me when I hardly even know myself all my life?

You could rip my heart out right from chest and leave it under the scorching Sun, and watch as I slowly bleed out. You could tear me down to shreds and curse me to hell and back. You could even set me on fire and feed me to the sharks. You could do anything you want with me, to me, but you could never make me talk about my thoughts, my feelings.
