Cotton Yarn 4ply size 2 mm.
Crochet Hook No.4 size 2.5 mm.
Crochet Hook No.5 size 3 mm.
Glue
Scissors
Needle πβ.Λ round 1: (petals)
Ch 5 Sl st into first ch to form a small ring. Inside the ring, work: (ch 2, 2 dc, ch 2, sl st) Γ 5 times β 5 tiny petals around the circle.
πβ.Λ round 2: (bigger petals)
Sl st into the first ch-2 space. In each ch-2 space around: (ch 2, 3 dc, ch 2, sl st) β makes 5 bigger petals.
πβ.Λ round 3: (outer petals (optional for fuller rose))
Sl st into the back of the petal (look for the space behind each petal). In each back space: (ch 3, 4 dc, ch 3, sl st) β makes a layered full rose.

2. Work down the chain:
Sc in 2nd ch from hook
Hdc in next ch
Dc in next 2 ch
Hdc in next ch
Sc in last ch 3. In the same last ch, work: (sc, ch 2, sc) (β This makes the pointed tip.) 4. Now go back down the other side of the chain: β’ Sc in first stitch β’ Hdc β’ Dc in next 2 β’ Sc 5. Fasten off, leave long tail to sew.

you should have 4 clusters of 3 double crochets.

sl st to first ch-2 space ch 3 2 dc ch 2 3 dc (this makes a full corner)
in each ch-2 corner space: (3 dc, ch 2, 3 dc)
join with sl st to top of ch 3
your square is starting to appear! β¨

in each side space (the space between corners): 3 dc
repeat around join with sl st

granny squares are supposed to be loose β donβt pull too tight
blocking helps them look perfect
if yours turns into a circle β add tighter corners
if yours curls β loosen your tension
