Can we talk about how every exhibit remembers their deaths?

For instance, In the Battle of the Smithsonian, General George A. Custer explains to Larry that he remembers leading 208 Americans to their deaths in the Battle of Little Bighorn.

So when everyone at the Museum of Natural History woke up for the first time, their deaths would most likely be the last thing that they remember.

So can we talk about them waking up and realizing it’s been centuries or even thousands of years since their last memory?
