There’s tons of things you CAN’T control in sales. In business. In the economy. In the political world. In life.

Too many times, people get focused on that, and it causes anxiety, frustration, fear, etc...

However, there are so many things you CAN control, boiled down: your work ethic and attitude towards your situation matter most.

I’ve found this is be so true in my life it’s almost become a theme throughout my career.

I control my attitude towards every challenge, obstacle, and event that takes place in my life.

People try to blame their crappy attitude on their circumstances- LOSERS!

I hear it all the time, “the reason why I’m having a bad day is because XYZ”, that’s LOSER TALK.

No one has the power over you attitude but you.

I never really understood this until I had a child.

.

Like I never got how much God loves us (His children), or how much my physical, earthly father loves me.

.

It’s more than you can understand.

.

God loves us with a perfect love, and there is nothing that we can do to make Him love us more. There’s also nothing we can do to make Him love us less.

.

Somethings I used to think that God loved me LESS when I did something stupid (and believe you me that happens often), and He loves me MORE when I’m being a good little boy obeying all the rules and helping old ladies cross the street. Totally wrong.

.

He loves me the same.

.

Jesus didn’t lay down His life on the condition that I do a bunch of things to earn His love, rather He laid down His life so that I could FREELY accept His ❤️.

.

The reason why I thought that God’s love was conditional to me is because that’s how human love is.

.

People will love you when YOU DO WHAT THEY WANT you to do, and hate you when you stop being in their gang.

.

People who don’t know what it’s like to be unconditionally loved will tell you that they love you, you’re a part of their “family”, you’re their own, but the second you do something wrong or you don’t go along with THEIR AGENDA for you, boom, throw you under the bus, you get no love like the Eminem/Lil’ Wayne song.

.

LOTS OF FAKE NEWS LOVE OUT THERE IN THE WORLD!

Don’t you want to experience REAL LOVE ❤️ ?

Humans will leave you, God will never leave you or forsake you, and never, ever stop loving you.

I can’t imagine not loving Isaac ❤️! He BELONGS to me, and I’m OBSESSED with him.

You know what’s the worst part about having egg on your pants?

If you’re not holding a baby, people think you wiped your boogers on your pants.

Anyways, had a really great time with Isaac on Thursday, traveling and doing business.

Entrepreneur life is flexible life.

.

If you need to take a day off (or a week, a month, a year) to spend with your family, you can do that.

.

If you need to work 100 hours per week, you can do that too.

.

I’ve done both.

.

It’s about finishing your projects, and being on top of the tasks.

.

The guy that I met today wants to start a family soon, which is great- one piece of advice that I could give to someone who is looking at getting married, having children, etc...

.

Activate as much CASHFLOW as you can. Build your business to where it pays you AT LEAST $3,000-$5,000 a month before you even THINK of building anything else.

.

Build your foundation of passive income, then go build your dream life.

.

It will make your relationships and family life easier.

.

Speaking ONLY to young entrepreneurs here- building passive income and such advice really doesn’t apply to a non-business owner.

.

To everyone else, I would say save as much money as you can before you start baby life I guess.

.

Avocado is like the best food ever for babies, just wanted to throw that in there.

If your dad works at a car dealership, he can tell you how to sell a car, but he can NOT tell you how to build a GLOBAL BUSINESS!

If your mom works for a division of a company, she can’t tell you how to run an ENTIRE company!

When I was a young entrepreneur, one of my major setbacks was that I was always comparing myself to other people (there is nothing wrong with admiration, respect, and being inspired by great men and women 😍).

.

I would watch a YouTube video and try to be like this guy, talk like that guy, sell like that girl, etc.

.

My life, business, got 9000% better when I realized that I don’t need to be like anyone else.

.

I need to be like ME.

.

If I suck at climbing trees (digital marketing for example), then hire someone who is the king chimpanzee of that, so I can do what I do BEST.

.

I know that I SUCK at doing X,Y, and Z. That’s why I partnered with some of the best in the country to work on those things with me (this doesn’t mean I’m not constantly learning new skills and talents; you should know enough to be dangerous!)

.

Lol, I used to be like “man I suck at being an entrepreneur because I suck at XYZ...“

.

Or: (have you ever said this one?) “I wish I was more like XYZ”, or, the worst one of all, “XYZ has an advantage over me because of....”

.

THAT’S LOSER TALK.

That mentality is a BROKE mentality.

Look guys:

START where you ARE.

USE what you HAVE.

DO your very BEST.

Pretty quickly after I went through that growing up phase I was like LOLLL, let’s TRIPLE down on my strengths now.

.

When I TRIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPLE-downed on my strengths, I started CRUSHING IT.

.

✅ I became financially free.

✅ I became a national sales leader.

✅ I became 2018 Partner Of The Year for EPSG, LLC, a $100M company.

.

POINT: YOU BECOME WHO YOU’RE MEANT TO BE WHEN YOU STOP COMPARING YOURSELF TO OTHERS AND FOCUS ON BEING THE BEST VERSION OF YOU.

Self awareness my friends.

I had a conversation yesterday with a really good friend of mine who is like 22 years old who made $3000 this past week and made $5000 last week.

.

He’s in a completely different industry that I am, but at one point I had trained him in my industry.

.

He flat out told me multiple times that he just doesn’t feel that it’s a good fit for him and he’s going to pursue areas where his talents can be maximized.

.

This is excellent self-awareness because he could be making $1000 per week in my industry easily but instead 3X and 5X’d his income through this principle.

.

He’s not comparing himself to me, he just knows what he’s good at and he’s running with it.
