As I was thinking about life, I realized —> We are RESILIENT creatures..💥 - I realized with a year as difficult as this, if you persevere, if you keep going.. you WILL move forward. You WILL learn, you WILL grow, you WILL BE stronger. After knowing where I've been emotionally and mentally the last few months, it’s crazy to see and feel what I do now. I feel hopeful, I feel empowered. I feel a level of depth and appreciation and love I haven’t before. It just shows me how we are built for —>survival ❤️ We're built for connection in the depths of our darkest experiences. We WILL rise up through what we're going through; because time and time again life puts us through the ringer and we make it to the other side. 🤷‍♀️ - My dad once told me that he thinks we go through these hardships, these losses, betrayal, death, break-ups, dissapointments, downfalls, etc.. because "it's to prove ourselves; to ourselves and to the heavens." That we must go through hard things because Jesus went through hard things. And hearing his words, his contentness, his acceptance of the yin & yang of life has really given me a new outlook on how I see trials. I've been reflecting on it a bit and just wanted to share. 🤍 Note to you: You are stronger than you think. You are capable and brave of so much and your future-self is gonna be so proud of you one day, saying, “YES I DID THAT, I got through THAT!” 👊 So keep on, keepin’ on! ☺️❤️

It took some time to realize but something that really stuck with me during a therapy session once was, “do you like what you’re putting into the world, do you like who you are in this world!?” 💭 We can’t change a lot; we can’t change so many unfortunate circumstances beyond our control.. but we can always chose WHO we are, the type of people we want to be. 💥 I choose how I treat people. I choose the energy I allow in my life AND the energy I put out for others. I choose to find joy and see the blessings. So for today’s thought I hope you realize whatever you’re going through, you can choose who you are in this world. ❤️ (& I’m aware that happiness isn’t always a choice, depression/anxiety/mental illness is real and sometimes you can’t just “choose” or SEE your way out of a feeling. So be kind to yourself with wherever you are on your personal journey.. 🙏)
