richie leans against the brick wall beside the club, cigarette balanced between their fingers as they watch the other's increasingly unsuccessful attempts to make it past the door. after a moment, they let out a quiet laugh, take one last drag, and jerk their head toward the entrance. “come on - ” they call, flicking ash onto the pavement. “you're making this look way harder than it needs to be.” they unclip the velvet queue rope that skims the other's side, holding it open for them to step out of line. "told you - if you want to come, you let me know.. i'll take care of you." the blonde promises, muttering to security to let them skip in future. "what're you drinking? on me."
lola let out a defeated huff, trying her best to see over the crowd but her height was proving to be an unsuccessful factor. "i'm sorry — usually i'm not this unlucky i swear!" her head turned to the stranger offering her help, relieved to see the other side of the velvet rope after struggling in the crowd. "wait, are you sure?" she questioned, looking around the club briefly before turning her attention back to them. "you already got me this far."
" hey. " cameron would say over the front counter. he was busy going through some of his appointments for the day. but the shop was nearing closing and he was just about to leave for the day. " we're just about to close.. so i can't give you a tattoo or anything right now. you're welcome to come back, though.. tomorrow or something. i've got two appointments open. " he'd say from memory since he had already knew what his schedule was looking like for the rest of the week.
"hey." arden greeted softly, walking by him with a shrug of her shoulders. born in the heart of new york city, it was no surprise that arden developed a love for all things creative. drawing became her first love, right after she figured out how much more detail she could add to a page when she colored outside the lines. most of her life was spent with her sister and a nanny that was ever changing until they found one their father wouldn't give a second glance. the rhodes' girl were taught to keep bettering themselves, that that was the reason their mother was never around instead of a crumbling marriage. her parents were still married to this day, though looking inside their "happy" home you'd find them in two separate bedrooms not wanting to entertain a scandal that would attach to the headline of divorce. every family had their issues, arden decided it'd be best to distance herself from all of them — starting with college. the blonde landed herself a comfy spot studying abroad in paris, france — she didn't care enough to know if her father had paid them off or they'd actually saw talent within her sketchbook, either way she'd gotten the escape she craved. there she met a man who seemed to adore her from the very moment they locked eyes in a crowded pub, vincent was everything her parents relationship was not until she found him ripping pages out of her sketchbook and whatever money he could pocket from her bedside table. arden didn't want to believe it, that the fairy tale she'd made in her head was just as fake as the relationship she'd seen her entire life. again she ran, throwing her sketchbook into her fireplace before using the last of her saved money to get her a flight — but not home. it's been five years since she'd talked to anyone from new york, instead she threw herself head first into everything palmview, florida had to offer — she could thank the dart on the map for that. she's found a new form of art to love ... body art — well piercings and she didn't expect to love it as much as she does. though it isn't uncommon to spot the blonde doodling away on a bar napkin as she waits for the next round to arrive.
