I'm horrible at writing compliments, but thanks for not shying away from the reality of what Simon has both gone through and has done, while still emphasizing that, there is still hope for recovery (and that, despite it all, there is still potential for him to be a good person)
way too many pieces of media shy away from the reality of what that type of environment can do to a person, and much like Iron Lung (the movie itself) you don't do that and I really appreciate it, as someone who was raised in a similar environment.

I'm a "if Simon was treated fairly from the start he would've been an amazing COI pilot" truther. Simon had eons of potential that was thrown away in a petty revenge plot. And Grace just looks like this across the dinner table
