I do NOT think Percy would have the same reaction as Max to this photo. He’d be SEETHING and want to beat the living shit out of Octavian (whom I’ve given the role of Nathan). Which actually leads into how I picture the events of this episode playing out.

I personally don’t see a need for Warren to intervene here. Especially since I’m replacing him with multiple characters—Grover, Rachel, and possibly Reyna. Any of them beating Octavian up feels a bit too ooc for me and not to mention unnecessary given that Percy and his loyal asf ass is RIGHT THERE already.

I’m a lot happier with him after cleaning up some thicker lines, fixing his face and sorting out the anatomy of that arm.

I had a hell of a time trying to pick out colours for his clothes! The grey sweater felt too iconic to change from Max’s outfit, and you can’t see it but I imagine his shirt has an alternate “John-🦌” design on the front.

Despite preferring to draw woman, there’s nothing quite like drawing Percy Jackson. I just love his design! (Or well, my interpretation at least.) Something about it is so appealing. Scratches an itch in my brain lol

I don’t have much to say AU wise… I’ll probably save that for another post. But—I fooled around with the “glitch” setting in procreate and made these!

My blend of Annabeth and Chloe isn’t completely fleshed out—but my thoughts rn are is that I can 100% imagine Canon!Annie having had a rebellious teenage streak if her stepmother had came into the picture later in life. (Especially with the influence of Thalia who is taking the role of Rachel)

And yes, the blue hair dye may have been a choice made due to missing her “best friend” — in my AU at least lol

I’ve been having a lot of fun imagining how these two universes would merge together and what PJO characters would fill the roles of LIS characters well, etc. Some have clicked so perfectly like Thalia as Rachel, but some are more tricky but it’s all in good fun lol

I do think another play through is in order. I did not make the most Percy-like choices in my first round haha, but first Before the Storm.

Anyway… possibly more of this! (At the very least a coloured Annabeth. Her sketched turned out sooo good! Percy looks a little funky still. Curse of never drawing men :P) I make no promises considering it’s been a million years since I last posted art on this blog 😭
