It's not every day that you get a letter "sent with love and hugs from the desk of Taylor Swift."

This week, Britta Thomason — a flight nurse and self-proclaimed Swiftie — received a special package at her work: a handwritten note and a box of special merchandise straight from Taylor Swift.

Sharing photos of the note and a video of herself opening the box on Facebook, Thomason expressed her excitement as she opened a package from her favorite artist.

"Dear Britta, I wanted to write to you and personally thank you for serving on the front lines of this pandemic and for being brave enough to put yourself in danger to help others," Swift wrote. "I am so inspired by yout passion for helping and caring for your patients and I was so touched that you mentioned liking my music recently!"

Paul Sidoti: When @taylorswift asked me to be a part of her re-record of “Fearless”, it brought back so many memories of what seemed like a lifetime ago. The music contained in this record exploded to all ends of the Earth and forever changed my life and many of my band mates’ who are also represented here. It was a rocket ride indeed. Getting to play these songs in the studio was like opening up a yearbook and fondly remembering the unbelievable times that were had during those couple years. Pure magic. I’m so thankful Taylor chose me to recreate that magic once again and to also do one of my favorite things which is play acoustic piano. Getting to play the ballad version of “Forever & Always” will go down as a personal highlight for me. Huge thanks to my band mates @mattbillingslea @maxephronbernstein @smalltown1 @amosjheller and @caitlinbird3651 and the team @rowediddy @skuncy @jonathanyudkin for their everything. “The song You All Over Me is one that I wrote with a writer who goes by the name Scooter Carusoe. His name is Travis Hill. This was one of the songs where I remember us painstakingly going over the lyrics and trying to come up with all these different symbolic imagery references to how it could feel after you have your heart broken, just to feel like you’ve been ruined by the whole thing. And I think that’s one of the hardest things about heartbreak, is feeling like it’s damaged you and now you carry that damage with you. So, I was really proud of this song back then, I’m still proud of it now, and I think it actually makes more sense to have a 31-year-old person be singing it, so all’s well that ends well! And I was really excited because Maren Morris was gracious enough to sing back-up vocals on it, and she’s one of my favorite artists, so here it is!”
