These little guys are the accumulation of four years research into the use of dolls and figures in the religious and superstitious history of cultures spanning from Finland to Awashima.

After a while of seeing the same symbols and idioms occur repeatedly through every belief system, I developed a visual language of my own, which I’m sure everyone can relate to - because it is made of the worlds language, the little niggles that humanity has caught on to and created superstitions around for all of time.

And then these little folk were born. Each one does his or her own thing, be it and encouragement for those fighting a tough battle, or a smile for those who are in desperate need of one, or a moral compas for those who get lost all too often.
