i noticed you include night terrors in when you write abt candypop, do you have any headcanons abt his character???
Night Terrors Headcanons
> I may not explain this well, but Terrors and Candy are very meshed together, the switch between them is more like a mindset shift rather than becoming a different person, same thoughts, same memories, etc. Candy Pop is their usual form, they pretty much never change forms but they are able to. In the dream world you may see the shadow of Night Terror's form but never the real thing.
> He's more cunning, sadistic and arrogant, still likes to talk peoples heads off like Candy, but his jokes and teasing are alot more mean spirited. Candy doesn't really care about that side of himself anymore, at first he was insecure but now this is just who he is and it's just funny to him.
> He's alot more for gossip when he's like that, making fun of people, gets along better with friends like Jason, whereas Candy's side gets along better with friends like Nathan.
> They tend to ignore the other creeps dreams at most times but sometimes the mischief peeps out and he spreads some nightmares, seeing the others wake up in fear is amusing, he mainly only does it when he hasn’t been able to find victims in a while for whatever reason
Only did 4 becauseeee my ideas kinda ran dry for only Night Terrorsss
The makers have been very kind to me lately. I have not had many terrors the last two or three weeks. It is nice to be able to sleep without the fear.
PSA!!
Do you have night terrors where you'll wake up full-body-jumping, crying, or feeling overwhelmed?
Stop taking Benadryl!!
That's right, Benadryl's active ingredient is known to cause night terrors, apparently. If you're like me and no one told you this so you've been taking it every night to combat allergies, either get comfy with the horrors or find a new way to keep your sinuses from suffering so dream-you doesn't have to.
Night Terrors
I still don't know which comes first.
The nightmares, or the way I start searching for someone to survive them with.
Maybe I mistake hunger for healing. Maybe I mistake surrender for safety. Maybe I'm just trying to outrun the dark before it remembers my name.
It doesn't matter.
By the time I close my eyes, I've already lost.
People romanticize monsters.
They don't tell you the worst ones don't live under beds.
They wait behind your eyelids.
I used to think Daddy should be the scariest thing in my room.
Not because I'd fear him.
Because if he was there, maybe everything else would be too afraid to come any closer.
Instead, I fight things no one else can touch.
Every night, a war my body remembers even when my mind doesn't.
Every morning, another performance.
"I'm just tired."
As if exhaustion is the whole story.
As if there isn't a version of me that dies a little every time the lights go out.
Everyone has demons.
I know.
But there's a particular kind of loneliness in realizing yours only visit when you're defenseless.
And every night, they still know exactly where to find you.

night terrors are so funny because what do you mean i have to tell my roommates and neighbors "hey so if you hear me screaming bloody murder for help at night, just like. don't worry about it" lmaoooooo
Idk why i got posters with the bands members in em if i know i will freak out in the middle of the night.
About 4 years ago i think i got very into doing stuff with watercolour, and i made a portrait of felix kammerer (not even that well made but oh well).
And i found out that if i letted that type of things dry up vertically they didn't wrinkle as much.
So i left it on my desk (that's infront of where i lay my head while i sleep) and in the middle of the night when i woke up i see that thing and felt my soul leaving my body before remembering what i did hours prior
And it wasn't the last time it happened either because i have a carrie painting and a jeniffer check watercolour drawing hangued near my nightstand and sometimes i freak out of what appears to be an uncanny face.
"I'm not just a professional. I'm the Doctor."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
"It means I've come a long way to get here Alex, a very long way. George sent a message, a distress call if you like. Whatever's inside that cupboard is so terrible, so powerful, that it amplified the fears of an ordinary little boy across all the barriers of time and space. Through crimson stars and silent stars and tumbling nebulas like oceans set on fire. Through empires of glass and civilizations of pure thought, and a whole terrible, wonderful universe of impossibilities. You see these eyes? They're old eyes. And one thing I can tell you, Alex.
Monsters are real."
I think that's my favourite 11th Doctor monologue. Maybe second favourite Doctor monologue, after 12's "just be kind" speech. Smith's delivery is impeccable.
