And then I will again reiterate that, while I am glad she is vibing in Monaco, the fact that Hilary Knight is rumored to have Vegas EFO but then will immediately traded to Detroit just feels so icky in the context of her sentiments at the end of the season about staying in Seattle. Let the woman actually enjoy the end of her career with some stability (obviously unless she wanted to, then go for it—Detroit here I come).

Truly the wildest travel day of my life.

I feel like the PWHL is still small enough that it is like finding a unicorn, especially living in a market where there is no team, when you see someone else in the wild. I also had someone comment on it at Trader Joe’s when I was back home in the southern US and it was wild talking about the Wife Line and the brick wall that is Desbiens while picking out tomatoes. I love this league.

The vibes are even more immaculate for the Victoire because it’s literally all women.
