Day 26- Ramadan 

- Laylatul Qadr

Give charity: This can include money, but is not limited to only that. If you haven’t already, give the Zakah tul Fitr. Spend from your time and your effort: visit the sick, feed your family and friends...

Do a secret deed that no one knows about. Get creative and go beyond the basic giving of money. Donate your time and effort. Get to the masjid early and set up the chairs, stay late and clean up after iftar...

Quiyam during the night: Which can include standing for prayer or can refer to simply witnessing the night. This can be to simply be in a state of worship, like reading Quran or keeping the tongue moist with dhikr.

Make dhikr and read Quran. This is a time to be bold and try new things. Read along with the sheikh and imitate him without a care. Memorize new duaas and recite them with the meanings in mind.

Make Duaa for the dunya and akhira. Ask for whatever you want. This is the night of decree. Change your destiny.

Duaa for forgiveness: Forgiveness is the first step to changing our souls. If we get nothing out of Ramadan except for doing lots of prayers, it’s not as beneficial as it could have been. But if there’s a change in our soul, then it will affect us from inside and better us. This is not a month of solely worship. This is a month of reformation and becoming better in character and in soul.

This will make it easy to continue the worship even after Ramadan.  That is why Shabban was recommend for us: to continue our good deeds. Cut down on useless things gradually and maintain it even after the month is over.

Find one deed that you’re happy about, that makes your soul content, and make the intention that you won’t leave it no matter what.

Focus on one behavior or character trait you will maintain (being nicer to people, avoiding argument, compliment someone, leaving bad things)
