A Garden On Grant

I like that it's pristine. No fancy decor, it's just a nice, original, basically untouched Victorian.

They papered the fireplace chimney and it looks like new brick, but it's fine. All the wood is intact.

It's a very large sitting room.

And, it has this cute little alcove sunroom with pocket doors. I would shut myself in there.

In here, there's a home office.

Unfortunately, they completely blocked and wallpapered the fireplace, leaving only the mantel. I wonder what's under that paper.

The kitchen's cute. Plain and original painted cabinetry, the stove is set into the original stove area, and best of all, the original ice box is still set into the wall.

That's definitely an original cabinet and closet in the corner.

And, look at the pantry. This is pretty.

It looks like they turned the primary bedroom into a family room with a kitchenette.

The sitting room has a dining area. Note the fireplace carved out in the corner of the room. There's another dining room, this is extra, so it's actually the living room.

But the kitchen is the star of the show. I love when the old equipment is still in a mill, and when owners remove it, it's just a plain ol' house. So, look at this- the kitchen has a mill stone.

The stone is still in the trough that held the ground grain.

Then, to the right, there's a giant crusher. Also, love the furniture.

The bathroom is so vintage. And, they did that thing with the shower- it's clear glass and made to blend into the background.

This home has been very well-maintained and restored, and they have the receipts for all of the improvements.

This private breakfast room is so beautiful with its glass ceiling.

Looks like a giant bunk bed in the living room. It's as large as a bed, so it's probably for watching TV, as well as a guest space?

Look at the pipes on the fireplace. At first I thought it was a tree. Now, I see more of it, I remember posting this before. The date on this photo shows 2 yrs. ago, so I wonder what it looks like now.

The wall does not go up to the ceiling and the kitchen is on the other side. Look at the big holes to pull the cabinet doors open. The stove looks like the kind you'd see in a camper.

The table is in the corner against the half wall overlooking the living room. And, there's a door to outer stairs.

This looks like a music room. The lights look like turtles.

This tub looks like a DIY with a sheet of metal as a liner. Love the stained glass window, though.

Look at all the pipes. The bath is open to the floor below, also.

These windows have great views of the beach, though.

Is that wall decor, or a ladder to a loft? Anyway, this is a sauna.

Came with a plaque.

Then, up here, there's a loft area with a balcony.

This looks like a bedroom with an ensuite, closet, and a ladder to yet another level.

Actually, it leads to another level with a sleep loft.

I never would've expected a golf course. 0.43 acre lot. On one side, there's the North Lagoon and the beach is on the Pacific Ocean.
