Witch of Void Analysis
Witches are on the active end of the Manipulate classes. They’re optimistic and confident, and rebel against their aspect. They manipulate and manipulate with it. Their challenge is to use their powers in morally conscious ways. The Void aspect is all about the Unknown, Irrelevance, Meaningless, Nonexistence, Hidden, Unawareness and Obscurity. Its symbols are Pumpkins, Liquids and Secrets.
The Witch of Void would rebel against the idea that some things will always remain unknown, or that they are completely unimportant and meaningless. They’d manipulate Void by moving it away from such things, finding relevance and meaning in everything. And don’t ever think your secrets are safe in the presence of this Witch: Mess with them, and they’ll wipe off all the obscurity from whatever you’ve got hidden.
Think that can’t happen with [insert your secret] because [whatever]? Ha. If they suspect you of having a secret, they’ll try to find clues in everything you do. Because they think (or know) that nothing happens for no reason. They’d be amazing detectives, if you ask me!
But they can manipulate the void to hide things, too. Or hide themselves. They could shroud things with irrelevance or meaninglessness if they didn’t want them to be seen or cared for. They could fill people with unawareness, too, be it for the same or a different reason. This could save things like shows or games from having toxic fandoms, or maybe they’re just kind of hipsters and don’t want the things they like to be popular! Sounds very witch of void-y.
Ok, you’re aware they can find out your secrets and that you won’t know a thing about them. But think how they can still manipulate WITH void. Once they find out what you hide, they can use it for blackmail. This is even witch of void-ier. They could tell you to do whatever they wanted, or else they’d reveal your secret.
They could try to manipulate you with disregard, treating you like you don’t matter or you’re not there. They could manipulate you by talking about unexisting problems. They could even manipulate you while you’re drunk and not fully aware.
Of course, it’s mostly Witches who haven’t risen up to their challenge yet that would do any harm with that. They need to learn to manipulate for morally correct reasons.
A good use of their powers would be moving away the void from something, seeing their true relevance. Then, if they think it’s not useful for whatever they or their team needs, they could fill it with void again, and nobody would even think of it. Or hide something everyone thinks is important, when it’s not. It’s a very likely behavior for this Witch, since they would be manipulating void and manipulating with void, and because Witches usually do their own thing instead of asking first.
The opposite of the Witch of Void is the Seer of Light.
Also, a fact about Witches: they work better alone. Hope this is enough!
