Those colours as well as the crests vary depending on the specimenâs habitat. A surprising characteristic of this species is observed during mating season : males colours become more vibrante but the most interesting is at their tail. The buds « bloom ». It seems to be both part of the mating parade and process.
Those predators are blind and navigate thanks to echolocation and their sense of smell. Their jaws being not very strong, they kill thanks to the poison they secrete. Excellent climbeurs, they spent most of their time in the heights.
