Don't kill me but this not an announcement about a new podcast episode.  But it IS proof the co-hosts of 'Disaster' are super busy!

Steve Almond dismantled the false left-right-wwf-style paradigm in on fell swoop over at the New York Times the other day.

Ryan Walsh's Hallelujah The Hills leave for tour this week and just premiered a brand new video for Nightingale Lightning.

Hey wow!  A new miniature episode.  Ryan drives down to Providence, Rhode Island for a chat with UCB co-founder Matt Besser about the shitshows & clusterfucks that happen out in the improv comedy world.  Matt's hilarious!

We're back!  Months of nothing and suddenly...something.  Ryan accidentally hacks into Andre 3000's royalties account!  Steve follows Dan Bern into a restroom! Justin Sexton emerges from the audience, plays a tiny flute, and goes head to head with Steve in a game of Rock Trivia.  TD (from Big Digits) lets us know about playing a Battered Women's Fundraiser at an X-Treme Skate Park (there's also an animated version of this story).  Time is killed as our last guest is late!  Chris Faraone comes straight from SXSW to show us exactly how Li'l Wayne throws a plate of Mac N Cheese at a wall.

Hey, you might have noticed we've been absent for a few months.  The show's title got a little literal and, long story short, we need to find a new venue for Disaster or figure out how to make it a non-live show that's still fun.

We're not going to lie about Episode 4: it's sorta weird.  Ryan's mic level has got the friendly behavior patterns of a yo-yo and there was a slightly smaller live audience than normal, for starters.  However, we think you'll find it has some indelible strengths that make it completely worth listening to.  What happens?  Steve almost buys a legend some medicine!  Drummer Mora Precarious snorts adderall and teaches a band's entire set to another drummer in one night!  Songwriting legened Mary Lou Lord talks about the dangers of being on Courtney Love's shit-list.  Then, she comes out of that surreal story and gets real with everyone and speaks so sweetly about life that several audience members cry a little bit.  Holy shit.   Alastair Moock has a speaking voice that will make you wish it was yours and he is very kind about Ryan's energy level smashing into the floor and his leading questions getting so piss poor that they themselves become laughable.  Mr.Moock performs two really great songs.  Ryan & Steve declare they enjoy doing the show and wonder aloud if they be allowed to continued on with it.  I told you it was weird up front.
