So I’ve had an ear infection for weeks now, and I’m getting really worried because my first round of treatment didn’t clear it up. The problem is I can’t afford to go back to the doctor and get antibiotics for it. I’m worried if I don’t get treatment soon, it can get worse - to the point where I can develop meningitis and hearing loss.

I hate to ask for help like this but I’m desperate. I’ve been dizzy, off balance, and headache ridden and it’s been impacting my already declining mental health. My anxiety is through the roof and I had to spend 40 dollars on that medication alone. My partner has been covering the visits, which have ranged from 40 to 125 dollars each because I’m out of a job right now. I really want to just be rid of this miserable infection and stop being hindered from doing the things I need and want to do. 

Vanessa Guillen is dead. 

After being sexually harassed by a sergeant, and being missing since April, she is found dead near a lake east of Fort Wood. And to top it all off, one suspect took his own life, so now we will likely never be able to know exactly what happened to her.

A soldier who happened to be female, Latina, and a victim of sexual harassment by a higher-up in the military, and no one knew anything about it, or saw anything strange. Not one of her peers knew anything at all? Seems extremely suspect to me, especially considering the U.S. military’s amazing track record of correctly handling cases of sexual violence or even addressing those cases at all. 

Regardless of whether there was some attempt at covering this up or not, this is a fucking tragedy and I’m extremely upset that this young (20 year old!!) woman was murdered and that her family has to deal with the loss of a beloved sister and daughter. This should never have happened.

Hello! So I’m currently uninsured and unemployed and have to pay the bill for a mental health consultation and my prescriptions because my anxiety has been very hard to manage lately,, so I’m opening up emergency commissions.
